Why is that star players in 2k are not aggressive like real life counterparts ?

I never understood why star players and high scoring players in real life don’t play the same way in 2K, players like James harden , Donovan Mitchell , Demar Derozan , Anthony Davis and so on don’t look to score more take nearly as many shots as they would in real life ..nor do big time assist players like Rondo , Rubio , Westbrook, Chris Paul , John wall , LeBron don’t often have big assist games

Because of tendencies and 2K programs the game so that players all play the same way. If those all star players arent playing at a high level, its usually another bum on the team that plays like a superstar

What difficulty do you play on?

Almost all high profile players rip me up (or at least try to) on Hall of Fame.

I think the hard reality is AI is not a big priority for 2K. It makes more sense for their bottom line to devote resources to making a new building you can interact with in MyCareer's neighborhood, than it is to improve CPU AI.

Tendencies. Use SimWorld rosters to resolve that problem. Star players act much more like their counterparts.

And AI will never be a priority for 2k, at least not in a way that it will make the cpu play that much smarter and therefor harder to beat. That would possibly drive away a ~95% of their customer base. Most people want to jump in and just have FUN with their idols/favourite teams. Id bet that 2k COULD program the ai much smarter if they would want to, but it doesnt make them money...

2k's more interested in online stuff and vc sells. The A.I's not That bad though but could be better.
