NBA 2K19 releases September 7th.
Probably a really fluid playing game.

NBA 2K19.2, .3, and .4 Release when they drop the patches trying to 'balance shooting', which really just breaks some jumpers and creates new 'money jumpers'.

NBA 2K19.5 Releases whenever they drop any 1 of the few yearly major patches that nerfs everything to all hell.

Can't wait for the VC Sale!

Prelude suppose to also drop on August 31st , anniversary edition will cost $99.99

Since it's the 20th Anniversary, I might have bought it if it had something I liked. I don't want any of that stuff because I don't play it. It's a shame that the standard copy doesn't come out early as well if you pre-order it.

Not moved yet... I won't be happy until they revert back to 2k1 and on by allowing me to adjust my created players arms, legs, waist, muscle definition and add tattoos.  This generic player model for created players ruins the experience for me.

If I wanted to buy it, I wouldn't have a problem with getting it on the official release date, and I do think it's a bit unfair to have a Early Tip Off. But at least, if you want to have it to reward people who pre-order the game, give it to EVERY edition of the game, and not just the expensive one. That was the point of my previous post

2K is going to need to show me gameplay a lot soon than normal if they want me to drop 100 bucks for that anniversary edition. I hope that's the plan since they conveniently took out early tip off edition for the standard version.

2k coming off their least well recieved game ever and theyre still expecting people to preorder before seeing any type of gameplay or information....crazy

Still trying to figure out how greedy VC makes the game a bad game... I understand the frustration.. but lets not pretend like if everyone started the game with equal amounts of VC, this game wouldn't be the ****.. FOH with all this 2k1 bull****.

To this day skill points & vc should be separate, but 2K went all in w/ vc & there you have it. VC for my court, gear, hairstyles, even signature packages? Ok, but for everything is a bit od it. I don’t blame em for going the mmo/rpg route though.

Same stuff.... This year we will have 35 rated overall players with about 10 speed. You will have to buy the anniversary edition in order to get enough VC to get a 45 rated player. Once you start my career you will now have two annoying fake rappers who are in every single cut scene. You will attempt to skip but the annoying rappers will virtually take the remote from you forcing you to hear them talk every cut scene about great cereal. You will want to play basketball but you won't be able to. Because these rapping wannabees will be all over your ears talking about cereal.*

PS: I heard they are also expected to launch a "pre-prelude anniversary edition" in early August which will cost $40, just so you can play the prelude a few days early.

Props to finally having a unique cover. I know a lot of people won’t particularly like it, but I’m cool with them moving away from the ordinary bland over art we usually see.

Ah no. As much as I admire LeBron as a player, I already know 2K enough (evidence: my previous 2K pre-orders) that this time I’ll pass. I will not pre-order 2K again and be beta testers.

Will I buy? I’ll rent it first probably. If developing a MyPlayer still requires pay to win spending, requires to spend hundreds of dollars for virtual currency, I just as well play live online across the street.
