Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
The alley oop badges and animations are a lot more valuable to have on a MyPlayer in 2K19.

What I've been wondering is how much do finishing badges like Posterizer and Relentless Finisher augment with Alley Oops.

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
From what I've seen so far, Two Way Athletic Finisher and Pure Glass Cleaner are the best defensive big man builds, and Shot Creating Post Scorer is the best offensive big man build.
Yeah alley oops are the safest pass to make to a cutter or stationary big man this year.

Silver defensive badges are definitely useful in 2K19 now that they drop all of your matchup's badges by two levels. Last year, they had no affect on gold or hall fame offensive badges.51 & 55

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
Tbh i started grindin a 6'6 last friday but didnt like the fact that he was smaller on defense but he was fast but i wanted the size so i put the 6'6 aside and made the 6'8. Theres not a big rating difference but the 6'6 is faster. 6'8 helps me on defense, rebound and punishing smaller guards in the post.
You could check 6'7 my lil bro that played with us has a playmaking shot 6'7 he loves him

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
The 6'8" pure shot creator is a lot better build than the 6'6" pure shot creator, because the added height helps your shooting, post offense, rebounding, defense, and passing. The few attribute points that you lose by adding two inches of height are insignificant.
The 6'3" pure shot creator is a good build too if you want to speedboost, but I wouldn't make that archetype at any heights besides 6'3" and 6'8".
Pure shot creator is also a build that needs its badges maxed out to succeed on offense, because its ratings are good all-around, but they're not great in any stat except for mid range.
And once you get all of the offensive badges maxed, pure shot creators become pretty beastly on offense, plus they can hold up alright on defense as long as you don't go too low on your weight or wingspan.

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
Is there BIG rebounding difference between... a 7-3 two-way reb'r, and 7-0 reb'r with secondary slash or post?Comment

Like is a 7-3 twoway reb'r gonna just jump through you constantly for rebs if your guy is a 1-reb, 2nd-slash?Comment

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
At 7' you really feel fast getting to the box out and I would say that's how the rebounding really differs. 7' players seem to excel at getting to the ideal box out spot and 7'3" players excel at doing the crazy reaching boards. Admittedly, I gave up on 7' and decided to use 7'1" instead, it just felt like a more balanced compromise between speed and reach. NBA2KLabs suggested rebounding build is a 7'1" Pure Glass Rebounder and did reply on twitter confirming they "pretty much" believe the extra speed at 7'1" will help you get into position.
At 7'1" the rebounding numbers seemed pretty competitive. It's possible the 7' rebounding is more competitive than it felt and I didn't give it a chance. I didn't experience 7'3" rebounders jumping through me, but they would occasionally just outreach me. However, I think it was within reason. The sample size was too small to make a real decisive conclusion about how good 7'1" is vs 7'3".
I know that doesn't answer your question about 7', but hopefully it provides some insight.Last edited by iTofu; 09-20-2018, 01:54 AM.
