Was just watching highlights, you know what ..

I play exactly like Ginobili..in 2k and real life lol.

I guess that's why I like shot creator it kinda gives you a good balance to do a little bit of everything and be crafty.

Guess I should mention I'm the primary scoring option on my team tho lol...

That sounds like a fun build to me, as a secondary player.

I really like to drive first, and shoot second. I mean realistically it sounds like I should be a sharpshooting slasher, but I never liked the fact that the shooting wasn't that great.

Which is why I made a sharpshooting shot creator. Still got difficult shots and acrobat along with shooting badges and a better rated shot.

What are some other guys thoughts tho? Like a good build for a primary scorer..either a 2 or a 3

I have this same problem bro lol , except my problem is I want defense primary but is a go to option on offense .

Decided that I’ll probably just make 2 builds anyway. One for scoring and another for defense primary.

Have you thought about builds such as a slashing shot creator ? Sharpshooting shot creator is another balanced build .

TOTALLY WRONG. most teams ran 5 out because it was the easiest and most efficient way to win games.

Bit of both actually. Sure they WANT to emulate real NBA (even if it's not really what NBA is today but whatever) but they CAN because 90% of the player they're facing have 65 in shot contest. I'm not saying no one should have a pure sharp build, I'm saying that the more heteregenous teams will be, the less valuable pure sharp will become .
I'm not a great shooter, never was, I have 7 players including a sharp-creator, this is the dumbest build to play (!!!!) you don't need skills because even if the guy facing you is a decent defender, there's not much he can do with his 65 shot contest and his slow lateral speed against your 95+ in shooting and your gold/HoF badges.
Sure you will struggle against other builds, but if you're a PG or a SG you will face sharp or playmaker/sharp most of times so....

I see that now u have to get hot zones in each mode(career,park,pro am) separately wont be tied together anymore thats a great addition.

My main build ended up being a sharp shot creator, 6'10 SF. Like Durant really.

My first build was a slashing shot creator. I messed up making him 6'9 max weight..idk what I was doing lol he was so slow. But I grinded to a 90 with him regardless till I realized he sucked lol

Hot zones are nowhere near as important as it once once on 2k17. You only get a 1.5% to 3% bonus, it's more of an indicator of where you're more confortable to shoot than a real advantage, so don't worry , you'll be fine

Unless they change it lol..I feel like this is a step in the direction of offline vs online/park vs pro am builds tho and I'm fine with that.

Anything that stops the cheesy grinding against low difficulty ai for badges and hot spots
