Re: The Photographic Side of NBA 2K19
Yea 2k still lacking in your myplayers muscle definition. Don't get me wrong its way better than the last two 2k's but there still needs to be improvement. I like your idea about them letting us choose how we want our body to look, whether its a muscle bound freak like giannis and lebron or a fat sloppy player model like Oliver Miller (for those too young or don't know nba history, he was the biggest player weight wise in nba history weighing 375)Comment

Re: The Photographic Side of NBA 2K19
I feel like a peasant still posting prelude pics but it is what it is. Also, Giannis has to now have the best player model in the game after his scan, good lord.
It's in the details
Look at the size difference (My created player is a 6'10" 240lbs PF lol)
It's crazy how much larger he is than both AD and LeBron
When you make plans with someone and they flake out last minute
Dunk faces are finally back (don't know why we lost them)
When LeBron beats you in the last 2 minutes with fadeaways
Now for some shots I thought just looked good
The Lebron fadeaway screen is probably the best one of the best I've seen. When he makes the right faces his scan really comes to life.

Are these from a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X? Look a lot better than your last screens. Did you change your settings?

The Xbox on the other hand already appears more saturated by default when I play games and the same goes for the screens. I just added a minimal amount of sharpness to clean up the loss of quality. This is the closest it looks to my actual gameplay outside of using a direct capture card.
The LBJ is awesome during certain angles and faces. I can't figure out what's off about him though cause other times it doesn't really look like him. Compare that to the new AD and Giannis where no matter the situation it looks like a digital copy of their likeness, something is off. Steph is another they just can't seem to capture fully (mainly the eyes/nose area).Last edited by lakers24; 09-07-2018, 12:26 PM.Comment

Re: The Photographic Side of NBA 2K19
Steph looks terrible imho. I don't get it, since he was the cover boy a few years ago. Like you said, the eyes throw it off completely.
Giannis looks great. Lebron, I'm pretty sure that this isn't the newest scan that they did a month ago.
With all of that above said, the game still looks phenomenal. Just a great all around effort. Player models look much improved this year.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: The Photographic Side of NBA 2K19
That screenshot of Iverson does have his likeness but I would think someone who was your 5 -time cover guy would be one of the most detailed characters in the game. With all those new additions to my park the art team was probably stretched pretty thin...EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Re: The Photographic Side of NBA 2K19
In all seriousness, the only complaint I have about these screens are the fit of the uniforms. They need to tighten everything up and shorten the shorts a bit. With the bodies looking better, the uniforms stand out that much more.Comment
