What exactly does the "Jordan Rules" defensive setting do?

This is only for Play Now. The most I have seen substituted at one time is 2 players(no platoon subing) and I have played about 4 games 12 min quarters. Rest of my time has been in practice mode.

Edit: Spoke 2 soon, just had a platoon sub.

Thank you! Have you had the chance to test the settings? They were pretty wonky and incosistent last year. Hopefully, Scott OG updated the settings and removed any bugs or glitches.

If you could check to see if the pick and roll settings work, that would be great. I believe there was a glitch with the standard P&R, and P&R Center.

You could try setting the global defensive settings (standard) to “Go Over” and “Hard Hedge”. And the defensive settings for P&R center to “Go Over” and “Catch Hedge”.

See how the players act with those settings.

Edit- Superstar difficulty would be great

23, have you messed with the contract/trade value sliders in MyLeague yet? Do you think the user has enough control over the player's value?

Another thing; can you select who makes the allstar team? Or can you only select the end of season awards? Wasn't really made clear in the blog.

Please tell me what archetype is the better for me.

Looks Random, especially when I have communications on and I have the settings to what you prescribed. Playing the bulls Wendell Carter Center J. McGee is hard hedging and catch hedging.

Now that I'm playing a little more it looks like the reverse is happening. The Center screen commands are the global commands and vise versa.

Man the Disrespect!!!

Read the DaCzar's blog and just for the sake of entertainment play off ball and just watch who on your team was circled that week. Watching off ball activity makes you appreciate the game and all it entails, and it serves as a scouting report.

Off ball for a series or two is your friend. Great way to plan your defense and attack.

i think i know what you're talking about. i would set something in the menu like 'force the jumper', but i go back to it a minute later and it's set to something different. either that or the letters were invisible lol.

apparently it's a lot more balanced between hip-rides and bump-backs this year. btw - u didn't even need a crossover last year - u could just turbo right into ur man and get to the basket lol.

LOL, yeah man you get me, this one thing stopped me from playing the game last year, is broken, you just force your way in, why need to run plays, so I really wish anyone with the game can confirm me that this ain't happening again this year plz, thanks!

Also, I want to know more about shooting, I hate the shot meters, can I somehow turn it off and still able to score some baskets? Thanks.
