Re: NBA 2K19 - Nintendo Switch

Has anyone got through a full online multiplayer my team game, either triple threat, or ultimate? I have tried every day since Thursday night at launch and at some point it stops and says “somethings has happened game can not be completed, game will not count” very frustrating I just want to unlock the auction house lol, I logged 210 hours on switch with 2k18 and played a tone online and had no issues at all. I love this game though it’s even better this year on switch then last year!

The thing I’ve ALWAYS loved about 2K games is that as you change difficulty levels, the sliders change for either side. Makes adjusting really easy.

Just saved an in-progress MyLeague game between my 2-6 Bulls and the 2-6 Pacers using Pro (Custom) with all User sliders adjusted to match the CPU sliders.

i only use the joy-cons for low intensity games like mario rabbids kingdom, stardew valley, etc. everything else, i use the switch in table-top mode or docked with the pro controller.

Tabletop and the Pro controller was nice last night. I’m definitely a fan.

Does anyone know if there is a discord group for 2k19 For the switch?

So apparently, in a fatigue induced stupor, I quit my game as opposed to save and quit. Had to start it over this morning. Did something different with the sliders this time. As opposed to using Pro as the base and making user match CPU, I used Superstar as the base and made CPU match user.

Why Superstar? Well, I like to use the difficulty level where by default, the attribute section is all 50s. Superstar had that. Any CPU slider that was adjusted up above 50, I made it the same as the USER slider which was adjusted down. So basically everywhere the CPU was adjusted up to 52, I moved it down to match the USER at 48. Main reason I did this was because in EVERY player lock game I’ve had on both Switch and Xbox, both teams shot above 50% for the game.

Here’s what the numbers look like for the first 3 quarters of IND (2-6) vs CHI (2-6):

Finished the game. Now 2-7 on the season LaVine was BAD. 1-12 from the floor against IND. 8 mins normalized to 12 is the way to go though. 90 FGA and 87 FGA. I like it.

                    Pre-Normalize Team Comparison:

                        Custom.

I turned it to Superstar then changed all the CPU sliders to match what USER is set to for Superstar.

                          Question:

How do you save/delete settings. I’m trying to make custom/matching settings for each difficulty level but when I click on the button to add new settings, name and hit the + to save-I don’t see a new save added to my settings and don’t see a place where I can go to delete settings.

Guess I’m too used to what EA did.

NBA 2K19 is the real deal on Switch! Anyone that spent a good amount of time with 2K18 will notice all of the gameplay improvements. The game runs smoother. That annoying hunched-over dribble animation is gone. Rebounding is better, although still times where the CPU goes crazy and gets a ton of offensive boards even when they don't have good position.

I'm on All-Star default right now and Real FG%. Happy with how the games have been playing out thus far. CPU is no joke in this game, and that's a great thing. LeBron was doing LeBron things with the Lakers, but as I suspect will be the case IRL, that team may struggle to compete against top teams for a full 4 quarters. I ran with the Thunder and we stretched the lead out to 15 midway through the fourth quarter after a back-and-forth three quarters of play.
