The more I play the more I think I need to abandon trying to position lock. I seem to run plays more effectively when I am not locked. It’s like I’ll be missing a step when I’m locked. LOL

Anyone worried about how the new Nintendo Online service will effect 2k switch community?

I have a feeling it'll nearly kill the switch 2k community. I just don't see much people that play 2k paying for nintendo online. It makes me worried.

I don’t even know much about the online service. I’m an exclusively offline kinda guy.

Man, I'm so disappointed right now. Tried playing tonight and twice had the game lock up on me. When it was playing, game was acting weird, too. Button inputs were off and no joke had one instance where an extra CPU defender appeared out of nowhere to steal the ball from one of my players.

Going to try again tomorrow, but looks like I may have to delete and re-install.

Wow, that’s wild. Thankfully I’ve not experienced anything weird like that so far.

Thankfully I can say I have not experienced this as well! All my issues are just with online games not able to complete. Hope it starts working for you man!

This game over last year is a huge improvement and my face scan came out beautifully. That being said, tried online game once and it worked without issues. I am also working on a roster where I am implementing most of woody’s edits plus whatever else happens throughout the year that impacts the game positively (like playbook edits). Anybody on the fence should definitely invest because playing it handheld and docked on my 4K tv gives me no hiccups whatsoever. My main problem is we need slider edits because I’ve seen the cpu constantly hold the ball until the last second to finally take a dumb shot (hate that).

Does anyone facing troubles when editing draft classes ?
When I edit the players, every time when I reopen the draft class the players age goes negative

Re: NBA 2K19 - Nintendo Switch

The game is so much smoother. I can actually pull off moves without feeling some type of input lag that I thought 2k18 suffered from. Very enjoyable so far and right in the palm of my hand.

One thing though, has anyone noticed a glitch in the shorts when playing? It's almost as the shorts get cut up and you see the players black compression shorts. This happened in handheld mode and I have yet to see this happen in docked mode.

Edit - Just a suggestion but can the Switch version get a tad bit more love? This should be pinned to the top along with the Xbox and PS versions.

Why do I need to be connected to save sliders and how can I reconnect after a sleep mode without backing all the way out of MyLeague?

Just finished the 13th game of the restarted CHI MyLeague. Went back to straight All Star, no custom difficulty.

Actually went into the 4th quarter with a 10-pt lead on CLE. Late in the qtr, CLE tire it with 0:05.7 to play. Jabari Parker takes the inbound following a timeout, does some shaking and gets the layup putting us up by 2 with 0:00.6 left to play.

The final (normalized) was 113-110 CHI. The aforementioned Jabari Parker was POTG and finished with 45 PTS.

Loving handheld mode much more then last year. Is it a locked 30 fps? It seems much faster

Re: NBA 2K19 - Nintendo Switch

I really don't know what to say about NBA 2K19. I loved the first 2 games I played, but man, the last handful have been some of my worst experiences with videogame basketball. I guess I need to drop down to Pro or something, because All-Star is proving to be a complete PIMA.

                                What I consistently see:
-CPU steals the ball from me the second I touch the R-stick to do any dribble move. Most times I'm not close to a defender, but I go for the stick and they swarm and then bam, turnover.

-AI teammates still have no clue how to stop the ball when the CPU breaks out from a missed free throw (this really annoys me) or missed shot. STOP! THE! BALL!

-99 times out of 100, CPU will hit an open shot. I get the exact same looks (I've used Real FG% for years) and more times than not the shots don't fall. To me, that's not a coincidence.

-CPU still has instances where it goes berserk on the offensive glass and there's nothing you can do to stop it.

-AI teammates call out a switch, you switch but yet they don't do the same, leaving your original man wide open for an uncontested shot.

Maybe it's a good thing I'm on the road and busy with work, so I'll take time away from the game, because right now, I'm very much regretting my purchase.
