I did try it and the tournament itself seemed to work fine during the first year. My team actually won it. The problem, in my experience, was in the years afterwards. Every year no matter how good my record was or whether or not I was in the Playoffs I was ALWAYS placed in the tournament and even if I lost the tournament I would always be awarded the #1 pick. I actually had to re-start my MyLeague because of it. I would advise just sticking with the lotto system. In the MyLeague I'm doing right now I've turned off rule changes completely.

My game always crashes at the tail end of it.

My team loves getting hurt I swear. Literally every other game I play someone gets hurt. I just started over my MyLeague to use Schnaidt's injury settings, and in the second game I play Bledsoe gets a broken toe from Cory Joseph(?) not giving him any room to land on a three (oh yeah, 2K, add in those kind of fouls for 2K20 please.) and is out for 2-4 weeks. A couple plays later, Brogdon gets a sprained right elbow away from the ball as a three from Connaughton goes up, and is out 1-2 weeks. Literally two of my players, in one quarter, go down with injuries on 3 point plays. Thank god they both went in or else I wouldve gone mad. Thaddeus Young even got a DtD injury in that game.

I wish i had others' problem of not seeing any in-game injuries because for me it happens ALL. THE. TIME.

Speaking about injuries, I had 3 injuries in one game with 3 different players on the default sliders.

I wonder who I offended for this to happen.

do you guys practice with your teams, if so it fatigues them and causes injuries. Ive notice when you do scrimmages it tires the players out.

The Anthony Davis news today shows just how lacking 2K19 is in authenticity. How much fun would it be to navigate this kind of sitiation? You either keep Davis knowing your chemistry is shot and that you’ll get nothing for him eventually, or you deal him for 60 cents on the dollar.

This doesn’t even seem that hard to implement. If your team isn’t at a certain level of competitiveness, highly-rated players that value winning will tell you they won’t re-sign and will ask for trades. Alas...

I simmed it in mine. I don't think you're the first person I've seen to have the issue of it freezing at the end if you play it out.

That is weird. I've seen several people say their games freeze at some point in the off season. I've not really had this issue but yours is probably not an isolated issue. Not sure what triggers these things. If it makes you feel any better it working screwed up my whole league. Even after I changed the rule back to having a lottery the team that won the tournament the first year STILL always had top odds to win the lottery.

9-1 going into the Thursday Night national TV game in Golden State. Brogdon is completely healthy from his arm injury, and Bledsoe has been cleared so I'll be bringing him off the bench for around 15-20 minutes.

I've used a lineup of Brogdon-Connaughton-Middleton-Giannis-Lopez since Brogdon returned. In those two games we blew out Sacramento in beat Portland by 2 in the Rose Garden.

Earlier in the season, since the injuries, we blew out NY and Philly, won against Minny by 3 after leading by 16, followed by a blowout win vs Orlando, an 8 point loss to Toronto, and a 2 point win in Boston.

Are the Nets ridiculously good in anyone else’s league or is is just mine...they’re currently atop the East at 23-6, 1 game off the pace for the best record in the league like where’d this come from?

I’m in Year 2 right now and I don’t currently have their roster in front of me but I’ll look at it when I get home and check it out a bit deeper to see what’s up.

While they’re not a team of superstars they have a pretty good roster and I could see them making noise, they’re either punching above their weight class right now or they’ve built a team to compete, time will tell how the season ends.
