There is an issue with the historic classes.

None of the players come in as rookies. You have to edit them individually and change their years pro to 0.

Have you gotten far enough in to see whether this makes them retire earlier?

Anyone experience in-game injuries in the MLO?

I know last year, it was impossible to have in-game injuries.

Definitely wasn't impossible, was rare though but we experienced 2 in-game injuries in MLO in 2k18. Was seldom overall, but it happened, one was to LeBron in a playoff game too.

Played 10 games now in Pacers MyLeague and still very impressed with the game. Especially the difference between good and bad teams makes it really special and worth it to play all 82 games.

In games against team in the tier of the Bulls or Nets you can go easy for stretches as soon as you found their weak link. Until the CPU catches up and corrects their mistakes that is. I love that adjustments really seem to make a difference. They adjust matchups, change defensive strategies and attack your own weak spot.
But the real fun begins when you're playing a good team. Best game so far was against the Celtics.

I had a cold stretch from 3 to start the game and missed my first 10 shots from deep. Only way I could score was when I ran PnR after PnR and attacked the created mismatches with my bigger guys. Some time after I've gone on a run with Turner and Sabonis killing their small guys they stopped switching and I really had to work to get good shots up.
On the other side of the ball they really killed me with cuts and off-ball screens. Especially Bogdanovic got killed on so many of these actions that I had to take him off. Then I figured that it was because I put their individual defense on tight, so I changed that and I took away few of these, but not all. In the end I managed to take over the game with Oladipo in the 4th, who couldn't score against Jaylen Brown for most of the game. Just felt like a great game where I wouldn't mind losing it, just because both teams played well and it didn't feel like cheating. In the end Smart and Morris killed their squad with bad shooting because I basically didn't defend them anymore, which seems pretty realistic.

Only thing I would like to see is that you can choose who comes to set the screen, and not only the bigs. We see that a lot in real life and it should be in the game too. Or is there an option and I didn't see it yet?

Generally for the simulation: The Hawks started the season hot with 5-1, now they are 6-3 when I remember correctly. On the other side the Sixers lost their first 4 games and are at the bottom of the standings.
In the West there are a few teams that feel off: Mavs starting good, Grizzlies are up there too. Jazz started 1-7, Spurs are really bad and the Thunder are under .500 too. Changed a few coaching styles after that and it seems like it worked, but not quite enough. Hope that will correct itself over time. I can live with suprises, but not that many in one year.

Press LT to pull up player icons then hold down that player's icon for them to come set a screen.

How is the Generated Draft Classes, and im still interested in how it affects the league when every free agent coach has a Balanced coaching style.

If anyone has simmed far into future, let us know

i check a few and looks same last year you still have the draft class quality sliders, the new coach that coming in next season they have various coach style I remember to see Pau Gasol with some post coach styles, but i think the coaching style doesn't influence much on the sim probably only when you play against the team

Haven't had this much fun playing MyLeague in a long time. Sliders for contracts and trades are amazing, so much better than last year when every fool wanted a max contract and half the players went unsigned.


Still some issues with players like KD accepting Nets offer on the first day etc., but I can take control of AI and prevent it. Maybe something in sliders can adjust that?


Started with a few teams already, tinkering around, but I think I found a long-term career with Orlando Magic.


Traded Mozgov and a top 3 protected pick to Cavs for George Hill in the first season. And Fournier and two 2nd rounders for a lottery protected 1st from Atlanta (who always make the playoffs suddenly). Won 46 games and lost in 1st round to the Bucks (Giannis is impossible to stop) in 5 games.



The trades created enough space for two signings. I reunited Kemba with Clifford (4 years/100m - 25 per year flat) and signed Jimmy Butler for max. Then managed to unlikely get Thad Young for the MLE.


Kemba - Augustin
Butler - Simmons
Isaac - Simmons/Swaggy
Gordon - Young
Bamba - Wright

2-1 with the CHI Bulls following a 67-62 W (OT) at the DAL Mavericks. I’m playing 6 min qtrs normalized to 12 but LaVine is averaging 39.7 PPG. Any thoughts on my best options for normalizing because playing shorter qtrs is the only way I’ll be able to play multiple MyLeague seasons.

I have a big myGM complaint. I’m still getting around 3 players complaining about playing time and my best bench player constantly demanding a starting role. I get that there are some situations in real life where a player complains about playing time but this constantly happened in last year’s game and it was super annoying and it looks like there is no improvement this year.

Usually, what I do is play 8 minutes per quarter and that gives you enough time to put up 190+ pts or more realistic numbers without the hassle of 12 minutes. Granted its 8 minutes more than 6 min quarters but you'd just have to normalize minutes and not stats.

After playing around with some numbers I was leaning toward 8 min quarters, normalized to 12, for my next game.

Going to start MyLeague after the Day 1 patch. Looks really good so far though.
