Anyone try the tournament for first draft pick yet? Really want to run with just the original 30 teams but was wondering how they made a tournament out of 14 teams that didn’t make the playoffs. Do you need to expand to 32 teams in order to have 16 in and 16 Out? I don’t mind expanding to 32 if need beNCAA: Kentucky Wildcats

Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
Maybe the problem is more ratings related. Meaning to many average/replaceable players rated near 80. May need to bump some players down in ratings a bit before starting a franchise. I often think games (Madden & 2K) often overate players.

That's exactly why I adjust ratings and potential (that also has a major key factor) to be lower in my rosters that I create. It helps with realism and contract numbers. I hate these high ratings 2k has put out the last few years.Comment

Not sure if anyone has gotten into it. But on MyGM the saga version my uniforms I created are messed up. It glitched and swapped home and away to the opposites and my away jersey has all my home images on it. And you cannot edit anything after you create them.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
So in my first test simulation the Raptors went 74-8 lol. I edited all coaches system to the best fit though.
Hawks 2nd seed with 48-34. Trae Young will be OP.
Celtics only made the playoffs because they went 9-1 in their last 10 and still got the 4th seed.
Lakers got 8 seed at 40-42.
Raptors beat the Nets in the conference finals...
Warriors were Champions in the end.
Since this only the very first sim it doesn‘t mean anything but hopefully the results will be more realistic in other sims.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
Couple of questions....
1) Can you create a league with LESS than 30 teams?
2) Can you change the starting year?
With the historic draft classes, it would be really cool if we could actually start with a past season and recreate league history. Would be nice if you could start out with the correct number of teams for, say, 1988.Comment

But as far as actual POs it's realistic 99.9% of the time. Raptors, Celtics, 76ers, Bucks are usually 4 best and GSW, HOU, OKC and some combinations of others from the West.Comment

Yeah, Hawks and Nets are mostly pretty good in my sims too so far. While Indiana mostly gets left out of POs.
