Clippers roster is TERRIBLY underrated. Just about every player outside of Gortat. SGA a 73 lol?

They actually seemed like the most accurate to me.

Gameplay is much better the blow pass your man 97% of the time is gone. A patch is needed and coming I'm sure. Fresh out the box I played on HOF difficulty beat the spurs with the Lakers 71-49. Screen roll defense is still very bad. Ball had 19 points all dunks screen roll play. 2k18 they over helped now they say home way to offen. I shot about 65% as a team really only because I missed a few layups. On ball defense is good. You have to work to beat a guy off the dribble. Since I mainly play 5 on 5 I really hope the CPU gets better with a patch.

Ok I played one game under my belt...played at superstar

Knicks VS Twolves

- Game moves fine to me...not to fast not to slow...control wise it feels a lot tighter

- Past 2k's by half time the score would be 80 to 80 this time around it was 44 me 42 wolves...I didn't touch the sliders and the score was in the 40's. I was so HAPPY to see this! Finally after all these years some real looking scores

- CPU didn't feel cheap at all...3 pointers toned down when CPU shoots he can miss even when wide open

- yooo....having a lockdown defender is TOUGH. The CPU locked down Tim Hardaway with Jimmy Butler. Timmy was cold all night so the main scorer for me was the unicorn Porzingis.

- CPU will take advantage of height...by half it was 44 42 then I just fell apart on the 3rd. They would exploit a mismatch when Tim Hardaway was on Wiggins. Wiggins would post up and fade away to shoot over poor cold Tim....

- Then Kanter Enes got tired and the KAT took over inside...I just had no answer...

so far I'm very happy with this game and it's worth the money IMO

I won a tough game against OKC with the Wizards running the double drag series which gives you a double screen at the top of the key.

I know Toronto ran that one a alot... sets up some nice stuff, especially with a quick point guard.

Just played my first game as the Celtics against Cavs on default Hall of Fame. The general feel of the game is a lot better than the past few years. Player momentum is excellent on both offense and defense. The AI defense is also MUCH smarter.

As for the game results, I won 125-110. I shot 57% and the Cavs shot 56%, with both teams shooting 57% from three. As expected my jump shots fell at way too high of a percentage on default sliders. Late or early release didn't seem to matter on open looks.

The CPU shooting was also high but I feel it was skewed because of turnovers on both sides. I gave the Cavs some easy buckets with 15 turnovers. They also turned it over 18 times by driving straight into my defense when the shot clock was running down. Realistically I would expect some bad shots at the end of the clock instead of turnovers.

Personally I was very pleased to see a high amount of steals on both sides. I've always felt that 2K had a lack of turnovers on default sliders.

My gut feeling is that this will end up being my favorite 2K game on the latest generation of consoles. It felt like an authentic basketball experience aside from the high shooting percentages.

I think the game puts you in tough situations, but there are no scripted losses so far for me, including the 2nd game against the Flying Dragon - the only L ive taken so far in the prelude was at the carnival.

Was actually down 14 against the NBA stars with 45 secs to go in the 3rd.

I went crazy tho. 25, 3 & 3 in the 4th quarter alone, with a pickpocket on Lebron to go up 2 with 1 minute left.

Curry hits a 3. Down 1. 40 seconds left.

Bang! I size up Lebron and hit a 3 to put us back up 2.

Bron finds AD slipping behind our slow *** center, tying the game up with 22 seconds left.

We come down the floor, run the pick and pop, I flash to the left wing and catch the pass with space - but Wei Li crowds me, calling for the ball right back so he can take the last shot - again.

I can hear the coach yelling from the sidelines - "Pass to Wei!" (oh? Now you speak anglish!??)

10 seconds left.

**** that.

I hit that ish right in Lebrons eye. Gamewinner.

41, 7 and 6.

Corey still hatin obviously. Really puts him jn a different context when thats his response to you dropping 40 pts, locking down Lebron James, and hitting the gamewinner lol.

(I recorded up until 45 secs to go in the 3rd & last 2 mins of 4th, might cut it up for the highlights threadl later.)

Defense defense defense defense is back and I love it.

No longer can just any scrub drive pass, you have to use angles and take note of what the CPU is giving you. Afraid of the drive here take this mid range shot and vice versa.

Beware to protect the ball especially with bad ball handlers straight Deebo on Red's chain will happen if you don't. With the way over dribbling is done and defense mattering this year I'm venturing into online heavy this year from online leagues, online quick games and even into the park to terroize cheesers.

I booted the game up at 1am, played 2 full games as my rockets. Right off the back i noticed the visual are probably the best they've ever been. Everything just looks so polished (PS4 pro and 4K setup)



Lebron james had 9 unstoppable points (I position locked on harden as my rockets) I just couldn't throw a defensive adjustment at him that could slow him down, It be like that sometimes, I love it!


Takeover mode is actually a really nice addition I got it with harden on a couple of occasions. Basically he has the slasher TO. So he gets faster and is more prone to getting advantageous driving animations ( just makes it much easier to beat a defender clean off the bounce.


I like what i'm seeing so far. Only time will tell if this things hold up.

I’m stuck in a hang after my first game in my career (after the prelude when I’ve done free agency). I chose to go to team practice and now I’m stuck, can’t get past the loading screen which really sucks because I blew 80,000 of that preorder VC on this player.

The Cpu never turned the ball over last year so that is a good sign. What about points in the paint?

Good thing that shot %'s are easily fixed with sliders, it's not like that football game where the sliders don't work or either alter gameplay that that they shouldn't [emoji2]
