Also watch the YouTube video of Tmac showing Jalen Brown a few moves.

I was playing a game as I watched and started using the step through moves to score [emoji123]

Those Nikes 5min vids of Kobe, Manu etc showing their fave moves from few years ago(upon further inspection... TEN YEARS! i'm old) is also good watch. I think Manu did a mid range and I started doing that move in-game and IRL. Also Manu has hair. The behind the back into stepback mid range was great last year.

Just watched this. Great video! Awesome to hear the devs have balanced out the difficulty levels with ACE and AI adjustments. Sounds like All-Star may be the best settings to make our slider adjustments this year!

An alternative action would be for the post player (MJ) to do a back screen to the defender at the wing and allow the wing to cut to the basket.

Another example is post entry pass. The default action - wing and corner player cut into the key, with the wing setting a screen to free up the weak side post player for catch and shoot. In a series, instead of both cutting to the key, have them to screen each other on the strong side and create catch and shoot opportunity.
I'm quoting my post from another thread here with follow-up videos. Mods, can create a new thread for this?

Here are the two vidz that I referred to.

It looks like you can set it to HOF for defense and supserstar for offense, or any other blend. My eye tells me the HOF cpu shoots at way to high a clip. So a blend of diffculty may be the most realistic for me.

However, I can definitely let Czar know to put on his show....maybe even recruit actively to keep it coming, because we need it to get big (internally) as a group with the same message being put out.

Im not the one who has to even start the page but hopefully we can all get together at some point and iron that stuff out.

That way we can all have access to the passwords, email, etc... so its an US page to keep things rolling when people want to post content and

No Monetization so we avoid copyright strikes.
Im in the chat during the simhangout on Friday nights so I can ask Czar his thoughts on it, they're all about us having a voice for the simnation so this should be a good starting point.

                            Trades
-Team Style and Player Fame: affects how much overall rating is considered.
-Trade Discounts/Premiums: affects trade value on a given player like euro-stash, new player signing, untouchables, and age, which is broken down by team status (rebuilding, contending, etc.)
-Player Type: adjusts how much a team values each player type

Theres also draft pick value for each team status with future year depreciation, and lastly Lineup Impact vs Net Value, which sets how each team status evaluates total asset value relative to lineup impact for a complete trade.

                            Progression
For this, we get the normal progression/regression rates and training effects, plus:
-how quickly they progress for each practice intensity level,
-how quickly each player progresses based on their work ethic (medium, high, very high), and
-how quickly they progress based on if they have a team player or extremely confident badge, or none of those.

                            Attribute Progression
To go along with normal progression that is largely dependent on each player, attribute progression affects the entire league for their growth phase, peak phase, and decline phase.

                            Contracts
-Min and max contracts: sets the rating ceiling/floor for players expecting a minimum or max salary
-Salary Curve: affects the salary expectations of all players in between
-Potential: sets the importance for this in a young player's worth.
-Durability: same as potential but for older players.
-Minutes: sets the importance of minutes (previous season) for any players worth.
-Fame: importance of name recognition for player worth.
                            -Non-financial ambitions: same as 2k18.

Sorry if this is confusing at all, was trying to quickly get through it all so i can play for a bit.

All this sounds great, as long as these sliders work right, that is I am impressed that the NBA2k devs, still work on improving MyLeague each yr, as you look at Madden, and MLBTS, they do very little to nothing with their franchise modes, and I never thought I would see the day that MLBTS would do that to us, but they have.

So I do appreciate the devs still putting some effort into MyLeague. The only issue, I really have with them each yr, is they add new things, yet some things remain broken, or just dont work right yr after yr.

Im really hoping this yr, they have did work to fix the sim stats in MyLeague If they have finally fixed this, I will be thrilled

That'd definitly be a huge step into the SimNation gaming philosophy. SPREAD THE WORD. It's essential, vital, for your movement.

My advice to everyone who wants to get a realistic , fun, and challenging experience versus the CPU is to put the game on HOF, and TURN DOWN THE CPU SHOOTING SLIDERS TO 45 to match the user. Try it and let me know what you think.
