Re: NBA 2K19 Q&A Thread
In myGM, I was in the first off-season and I won out summer league bet and then that was essentially the end, there were no other story lines, no other cut scenes. Is this how it's supposed to go? I heard there are different options for multiple playthroughs, did the one I pick just happen to end there? Doesn't seem right that it doesn't even extend into the season.Follow me for live wrestling tweets @molarmiteComment

Re: NBA 2K19 Q&A Thread
Is there a reason why when you record gameplay on the PS4 that you get no audio from the game? I find it super annoying that I can record a full game and basically not hear the audio. Any help on this issue would be appreciated

Re: NBA 2K19 Q&A Thread
Getting prepped for 2k20. I’ve been on the original PlayStation for years and can’t connect to my 5ghz internet. When I play in park my shot meter lags on every shot. Im debating buying a new Xbox one s or a PlayStation pro before 2k20. Would buying one of those and connecting to the 5ghz internet fix the slight lag on my shot meter? Thanks for any help.Comment

Re: NBA 2K19 Q&A Thread
Wondering if anyone can help - I'm trying to use custom rosters to play a friend online. It seems the only way we can do it is if I set up a MyLeague Online using custom rosters and then invite him to play. BUT we can only pick one team to control and then we'll only actually get to play each other when our teams match up during that season. Is there a different way to do this? Or is it possible that we could both control all of the teams in the league (each taking half) so that we could choose which games to play and then sim the rest? Thanks for your help!Pistons & Sixers

Re: NBA 2K19 Q&A Thread - don't know if anyone is still reading...
Hey folks,
May have figured out an answer to my above question - you've got to switch admin rights between the two members of the league, and then quick the league. Once you've done that, they have to invite you back and you can control a different team. The only way we found for the system to recognize when you're back in and let you be given the admin rights again was to actually exit the game and then start it back up. Annoying, but still, a fix!
Now, the OTHER reason for this post - new roster for 2K19!
Only recently got back into the game. I've updated the roster to the best of my ability, including folks that are out due to BIG, i.e. season-ending-type injuries. Roster: updated 6-17-20
PSN: CrazyCarlXU
Note, I couldn't figure out how to add players that were on 2 way contracts to teams when they were initially in the free agent pool. I also couldn't seem to adjust players status if they were an overseas pick. Finally, I also couldn't figure out how to always exceed the 15 active players on the roster, so even if I had put someone on the injured list, it didn't allow me to add someone to take their active spot. As such, there are several teams that are missing a rookie that is in the Free Agent pool. Finally, I added two players to Golden State, because they weren't at the minimum for active roster players. I added JP Macura (go Xavier!) and Jonas Jerebko
I believe this is based on the rosters originally created by PSN:jackmove916 or psn:davilesprat. I downloaded a couple and tweaked them before starting this project, so it's possible it's based on a different one; my apologies if it is.
I'm going to put in Barnsey's MyLEAGUE player Progression/Regression sliders (2k19). I haven't put the sliders in yet, so will probably have to tweak them a bit after a few games.
Also, if y'all know how I can get permission to start a new thread, please let me know. Thanks for your help!Pistons & Sixers

A few tips here.
One, you can only control one team at a time.
Two, as long as someone stays in the league as an admin, the other players can leave and rejoin the league even as different teams as often as you invite them.
Three, when I play friends with custom rosters in MLO, I always set the season to 14 games and force the wins so both teams make the playoffs. Then rig the playoffs so we face each other. Then, we play a seven game series. Once, we complete it, I reverse the wins and we can start again. I think one of my friends and I played about 20, 7 game series in one file like that. I can also invite another guy to the same file if his team is in the playoffs or just blow up that file and create another one.
Finally, if you want to play a season, then you might consider playing in opposite conferences, play the cpu and try to make the finals. Or play in the same division where you play the most times against each other.
But the 7 game series in the playoffs is my favorite way to use the custom roster vs users in MLO.
Remember though at the end of 2020, the servers shut off for 2k19.Last edited by Coach2K; 06-20-2020, 12:58 AM.For MyNBA, MyLeague & MyGM content, follow Coach2K on X by clicking here.

Re: NBA 2K19 Q&A Thread
@Coach2K,
Thanks for the reply! I did ultimately figure that out, but definitely appreciate the other tips. Got another question I can't seem to find the answer for - is there a way to turn off nicknames, especially for created players? Because I'm using custom rosters, a lot of players names aren't in the game and hearing a "Mr. Moves" or "ABC," mentioned for every team when playing is annoying as heck. I know you can change nicknames in the editor, but I can't seem to find a way to turn them off.
One last question - does 2k20 have the same rule when doing an online my league, that each person can only control 1 team at a time? It'd be amazing if 2 (or 3,4,5,etc) people could divvy up the teams and just run it the league that way. Anyway, thanks for your help!Pistons & Sixers

I think 2k20 MLO is the same. One team per player. For MyNBA, MyLeague & MyGM content, follow Coach2K on X by clicking here.

Re: NBA 2K19 Q&A Thread
geez Louise, it's like searching for a needle in a needle-stack around here. couldn't find a 2k20 q&a thread but my question has as much to do with the 2k series in general really anyways. can you not choose which arena you play offline play now games against the cpu or are you automatically locked into always playing at the arena of 1 of the 2 teams playing. apologies and thanks in advanceOSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23
