PNO has a new setup. Teams (current, classic, all-time) are divided into 3 tiers. To advance to the next level, you have win a certain number of games per tier. Once you completed the required number of wins in a tier, that tier is "locked", then you have to get the required number of wins in the next tier. After you advance to the next level, the tiers are unlocked, and you earn another tier of players to use. After the Freshman level, you earn the the Tier 3 Historic teams to use in Tier 3 matchups. Thus far, I can't tell how they determine what All-Time/Classic teams go into which tier.

that sounds awful. especially on pc, where There are Not that many online players if you Look outside myplayer/Park crap.
i imagine that you are forced to Pick a Bad Team and than have to Play against those Tier 1 Teams all the time, because others already advanced in Tiers and There is no one else to Play from your own Tier. now you are Stuck with playing Hawks vs Warriors all the time...

OMG WTF is that?! I guess I'll strictly be offline this year. That's truly sad. Forcing people to play with other teams. I loved last be able to pick any team from the beginning. I hated the unlock of classic team once you got to the nba league. But this... OMG... What were they thinking?

I love that team selection is restricted. While OS users may pick a variety of teams, 99% of the online 2K community are not OS users, and they'd pick Golden State every time if they could.

Says somebody that barely plays pno i guess. I've played over 130 games in PNO in 2k18 and Rockets with Celtics were by far most popular current year teams by my opponents.

Bruh it's not that serious and you're taking this way too personal.

The obvious reasoning for this change was to prevent super teams from being used primarily.

You have 2 options play or don't play.

Right, where are the “numbers” maybe it’s a west coast thing, but over here, we don’t rock like that, if you pull up wit gsw, that just says “I suck at this game”..And I’m gonna want to play you because only the guys who suck use gsw . Cmon get exposed.

Another thing if 80% or 90% or whatever the new made up number is on the forums are playing with Golden State Warriors how we yet to come across somebody that plays with the Golden State Warriors in these forums? 👀👀 they hiding?

Yeah I played Golden State 6 times in 100+ PNO games last year.

Exactly. I hate the fact that everyone is saying it’s because of the gsw...it’s not, they simply wanted a way to push you towards my player(the money maker). So they said you can’t play with your favorite team 🙃

Is there any word on if their gonna revert back this team selection. I mean, i just want to get on and play online with a team i want, they can just put golden state with the all time teams at this point, or with the classic teams, leave them out of the current day pool or something, but this is just ridiculous.

How could they fix it though ??

The entire new layout is based on PNO being like this. I can’t see them completely redesigning the mode via a patch......

You keep telling people to show facts and etc. Where is your facts that they made it this way so people can play MyCareer? You’re just throwing out a silly conspiracy theory of yours.

If they really wanted people to play MyCareer as bad as you’re trying to make it sound, they’d just take PNO out. You sound crazy to be honest.

He even showed you a screenshot of the Czar specifically saying it’s to combat people from using GS so much online. I don’t know what more proof you want. Some of y’all new people is wild lol.

Anyways...I don’t play PNO much anymore since they took out the HOF Lobbies years ago. I am just not a fan of playing those games that’s not on HOF. But this is a ridiculous setup. I am sure 2K could’ve found another option to combat people using GS and teams with LeBron so much besides not allowing people to use their favorite teams or teams they simply want to play with.

Like some have stated, incentivize it to where you’re rewarded for using lesser teams. Make it where people can filter out a few teams or something. Give options because it’s some people that hates playing GS and wants variety. It’s some that can’t careless and love playing against teams with LeBron or GS to strategize how to shut them down and just have the mindset that they will smash anyone with any team they decide to choose. This was a very poor choice from 2K. Unfortunately, people will most likely have to wait till next year for them to correct this.

I'm so disappointed in 2K19 PNO. I really do believe they are trying to get more people to play My Career. I remember when they used to let people buy wins in the online mode a few years ago. It may be time for me to give NBA Live a try.

If they really wanted to they could, its just a matter of if they care about what us users on here on saying, even though we dont speak for everyone, i would guess the majority would want it to be like it was in the prior game.
