So I just signed in and found my characters appearance reset and their name wiped, just a blank space.

I was only able to get my character about 60% of the way he was looking before because I couldn't remember the settings I used (because why would I ever expect to have to remember them??).

The name thing is a bit screw up though, because there doesn't seem to be any way to change it at all.

I'm 45 games into the season and there's no way I'm playing all that again.

Is there some way to fix the name thing? Because between all the scripted garbage (subbing out for 2 minutes up 10, coming back in down 20...), forced difficulty changes in the 'story', XP fiddling and now this rubbish, I'm just about done this year.

I think if you just make a new character and name it what your original player was, when you load up your original player it should have correct name.

Playing at the gym or park is nearly impossible without a highly rated player. I had some wins at 2 on 2 but even then it was lucky. I got completely ran off the court in 5 on 5. Running up and down the court was an impossible mission for my player.

I think if you just make a new character and name it what your original player was, when you load up your original player it should have correct name.

yeah i ended up finding that trick on youtube...it's still ludicrous that that's the solution to the problem...lol

Yeah pretty ridiculous it hasn't been fixed as its happening to a lot of people.

I am not liking how 2K is robbing us of VC. I just realized that we only get paid for one of our incentives each.

For example, I am with Gatorade and have 4 incentives. 100 for POG, 100 for 15pt and 12 ast Games, 50 double doubles and 75 for 20 and 10 games.

I just had a stat-line of 42 and 16. So that should cover all four of those incentives and reward me with 325. Instead I am only getting paid for like one of those.

It could be but if that’s the case, they should not even allow me to select them if I am not going to get VC. Otherwise, it’s a waste of incentives.

But I know for a fact I should’ve received at least 200 VC for POG and one of the points and assist ones. I only received like 100 something. I only noticed because someone else brought it up to me. Never even paid it any attention.

do i get vc for passing a career incentive? i just got get 10 rotation minutes and i didn't see any vc added to my career and by the way i am playing like crap but i still got more minutes in the game.

This mode needs to be taken care of outside of those horrible storyline preludes.

I play for the Cavs and like someone said up top, Nick Young who have been mostly a SG is a starting SF for the Cavs instead of Cedi Osman.

This isn’t realistic.

Then the Coach rotations are always horrible. Constantly changing. For two games the starter is Korver, then Cedi, then JR Smith. Where is the consistency? Just recently was playing a game against the Heat and the AI benched Collin Sexton for George Hill. This is just not realistic.

2k should take notice that everyone doesn’t create a player just to play Park and whatever else. I actually like to play mycareer! It’s a struggle to complete more than one season because of the issues.

I am a 6'9 SF and Gentry sometimes goes with this rotation:
PG: Jrue
SG: Myself
SF: Mirotic
PF: AD
C: Julius Randle


That's a very bad*** line-up if you ask me.

Good for you. As I stated before, the rotation for MyCareer has been horrible. Why is Kyle Korver and George Hill starting for the Cavs when they're going to push the youth movement with Sexton and Cedi? The rotation are changing every couple games.

This is a horrible starting lineup that would never happen. It's not realistic.


Collin Sexton is averaging 16 & 7.
Cedi Osman is shooting 50% from three.


Why aren't they starting?

My guy is only an 83 overall and I just got the ability to update the rotation and minutes for the team. Do they not make you wait till you are a 90 overall this year? This should be great for those that aren’t happy with how their coaches are handling the starting lineups
