Bumped up my difficulty up to Superstar today. I can truly say Superstar is more fun than All-Star. Challenging but not annoying. I just loss my first two games but I’m not even mad because it was fun trying to beat them. They weren’t huge blowouts luckily, just 7 pt loss and the 2nd one against Blazers was down by 6 till I fouled out in the last 40 seconds. We could’ve won but Booker took a stupid contested three. :/ and it messed up the possession to get us a tie game. Ah well.

Finally got Posterizer gold. Still only have relentless silver but MAN this playmaking slasher started TAKING OFF. There is a huge difference between silver and gold. He not only does better animations, but challenges more defenders regularly. I dunked on LeBron last night. Lol i loved it.

Anyways, I'm not sure I'll ever get the 86 ball handling until way late I'm thinking. I've got 3 bars to go and I'm an 88 overall if i had the VC. In truth I'm a 77 but he feels like a beast in transition. I wish he was more effective on the pick and roll. I can only ever really run the pick if it's before the defense is set. If I'm trying to create off the dribble in the half court they jump the screen or switch easily. If they switch I'll back it out and let Griffin or Drummond back down the guard.

In takeover the build is a nightmare. I can get a good 6-8 points in the minute and a half or so they give you before it runs out. I have a walking size up that is a shammgod that I'll break immediately and usually get the CPU off balance. It takes a lot of practice but i can usually time it right to create something. I've been having fun with this build on the same team as my Pure Playmaker because i can choose to be selfish and finish off the pick or in transition.

He's a complete blast and i recommend him.

He has same build at 6'4" and he speed boosts. He says after a dunk you can speedboost even without takeover. My memory is impaired right now but I think it's at 89 he unlocked the 86 ball control.

The build is hella fun man. You gotta bring him to the Park and JRC when you feel satisfied with his overall progress.

Just got over 40K VC saved up just by using MyNBA2k app. I'm still waiting to hear about Black Friday deal for me to buy it. So lets say by 21st I might buy it. So by then using same method and pick and win on app, I should save up another 7k-8k. So I will have about 47-48K VC to start off. I have no desire to spend money on VC.

I'm certain on the build and team I want to start on. I want to create a 6'9 LDD/Sharp PF and want to start with the Mavs. As a LDD PF I will have effects on SF and Centers. But at 6'9 I'll be able to guard most SGs and tall PGs. I think 6'8-6'9 is the best height for Lockdowns because you'll pretty much be able to guard/effect every position. I like the MAVs because a good young nucleus to work with.

I will use the VC I'm saving up to boost key ratings off the bat. I will focus on athleticism and key ratings like Block, Steal, 3pt. That way I can come in and contribute right away. I know with that blend My 3pt might max around 76-82 depending on length of arms. My main focus is on defense. So I just want a consistent shot. I'll make sure I'll play with a Dimer and couple scorers so I'm not the first option.

lots of silver and bronze badges, none of the lob city passing or catching, or mid range shooting, or shot creator badges or pick and popper. we shaq all the way, except for lob city.

the greatest feeling, is aggressive backdown, create a little space, dunk (falls under post spin technician , followed closely by backdown, drop step dunk.

you can really feel like shaq in this game. looking forward to next season at superstar level difficulty.

I gave up on 3pt/dunk contest In my career since 17 lol. Its crazy. What worked for me the few times I did try it (the 3 pt contest) I would watch the contest until it was my turn instead of skipping until my go bc they wouldn’t make as many 3s when I watched it versus when I would skip it but I’d still lose lol so I gave up and just stuck with the rising stars/all star game

I think I know what triggers being able to control/edit lineups for your my player. I’m on my second my player and learned that after I got one of my primary and secondary badges on gold, I automatically unlock the ability to change the lineups. This worked for my last player as well when I unlocked ankle breaker and dimer on gold. I made the same build (sharpshooting playmaker) but made him taller for the second build bc I wasn’t enjoying him as a small point. Has this worked or happened to anyone else?

I believe this is related to becoming the Franchise Player.

I had the same experience and it seemed to coincide with me becoming the Franchise Player. I'm not aware what the criteria is to achieve the Franchise Player status..

I’m dying at how you put NOPE NOT TRUE in caps but it’s all good lol.. I mean well idk like the last dude said who knows what triggers it bc I’m actually at the beginning of January (the 5th) to be exact and I’m still actually going thru the voting process for the all star so I’m not sure what u mean by when you say that you have get selected as a starter bc I’m no where near that point yet. My bar is still not full although I lead the league in Allstar votes so to keep it real I think it’s different depending on the build. It’s ironic that both of my my players unlocked this by achieving gold badges so idk. Same builds just different height and weight.

I really believe the way I did it is how it’s triggered as far as my build. 2 my players and it happened with of them doing the same thing by unlocking gold badges so idk lol but regardless I’m happy for us bc at least now we don’t have to wait until 90. Btw for anyone that’s curious, it doesn’t even work lol.. I changed the lineups before the game to start me at PG bc Lowry is at the point and I’m at the 2 (SG) but when I change it and start the game ya boy is still at SG lol. I even restated the game so that I could do it while I was in the locker room and when the game started, where was I? At SG lol
