What is a surefire park build I won't regret? Literally from MyCareer's inception I have never been satisfied with a build, except for maybe my stretch four in the Combine the year it was introduced. I'm thinking a pure, pretty much straight down the middle height/weight/wingspan/etc. shot creating SF; anything wrong with that?

Re: Official MyPlayer/MyCareer Thread
Is anyone else struggling on HOF in MyCareer. I've always played HOF every edition but this year it is insane trying to win. The worst teams can win by 20 and the best teams can win by 40.
Oddly enough, MyPlayer still averages insane numbers and every game is nearly a quadruple-double but a combination of the opposing team being unstoppable and your own teammates playing below par makes it impossible to win.
Ill be lucky to even make the playoffs on the Raps with an 89 playmaking shot creator SF (moved to SG for Kawhi)Comment

Re: Official MyPlayer/MyCareer Thread
How are you getting/doing the up and unders? Maybe I'm using the wrong buttons but sometimes I can do them and get points for them and sometimes I find myself doing a whole different animation

Re: Official MyPlayer/MyCareer Thread

Exactly, just move ball/men a bit for receiving not too far from the basket and limiting stamina drain when backing down the defender.
Sometimes I get VC for dropstep +up&under+ posterizing dunk in the same possession...jackpot!
Btw: I tap square for the up&under...much more reliable than the shotstickComment

Re: Official MyPlayer/MyCareer Thread
So my on playmaking slasher i made it to the Finals with Detroit. We got matched up against the Rockets, and let me just say, CP3 owned me. I couldn't do anything against him. If i tried any sort of hesitation or size up he was at least poking it loose, if not ripping me completely.
We ended up losing the series 4-1, so i said to hell with it and went to LA.
Starting line up:
Me
Lonzo
Bron
Kuzma
Laurence Bellamy (7'3 283lb 73 OVR rookie 22nd overall pick with an 87 block rating!!)
Had no idea they drafted a center before i signed. He's not great, he has a 57(!!) offensive rebounding rating and a 61 defensive looool. After starting him 3 games hes only averaging 5-6 rebounds but he's had 2 or more blocks every game. I figure with Bron grabbing 8-9 rebounds, lonzo grabbing 6 a game, and me with 4-5 we're still a pretty good rebounding team.
I'm telling you, we've been crushing teams with this line up. I've been scoring 30 plus a game even tho I'm trying not to ball hog. It's just I'll leak every time a shot goes up and Bron and Lonzo just make full court passes to me on the break.
I went from 27ppg 10 apg last year to 35ppg and like 4 apg LOLOLOLOL
I went from the league's leader in assists in the playoffs to being a complete assassin off the break. It's really fun to play at that pace all game long.Comment

Re: Official MyPlayer/MyCareer Thread
With the digital sales for $30 starting, I will buy this game between tonight to Monday. With Patch 6 coming next week, I won't start until at least that. I'm kind of debating whether to wait for next Roster Update in 2 weeks. I don't see any trades happening right away. But want to start with player ratings closely to real life play.
I have 47K VC saved up. I got a 1-2 Xfinity Locker codes that includes 5kVC. So I can potentially start out around 60K. So I should be able to come around low to mid 70s.Comment

Re: Official MyPlayer/MyCareer Thread
Got blown out by the Knicks and it left a nasty taste in my mouth! Love was getting absolutely killed by Zingas. He dropped 50. My whole team couldn't stop anyone.
Next game against Orlando. Blown out again!
I had to change something. I was frustrated with Love and the rookie SF Hugh Terrell. So, I decided to go small. I put Terrell at PF. His shooting form is so slow, he can't get his shot off quick enough. Putting him at PF gives him a change against the slower bigs. He's like a Draymond lite. He's 6'9, so we can get away with it.
Cedi defense have helped too. The whole defense as a whole is better with the small ball line up.
First game against Charlotte. We blew them away. The team is faster and runs the floor. Love is better off the bench against the bench bigs.Last edited by antixnette; 11-18-2018, 10:23 AM.Comment

I'm a PF so I get matched up against him 90% of the time and it's so hard to stop everything that he does
