I know. I was just wondering if there was some tip for doing the drill for it. Or in game. Being 65 makes it hard for me to earn hardly anything in the drill for free throw ace lol

Unfortunately you just have to deal with it until you get bronze free throw ace. You still wont be that good. Its not decent until you get at least silver Free Throw ace. Anything less will have you shooting 55-60% from the free throw line. Very annoying especially for builds like pure sharpshooters. I think a 80 free throw should be the very least. 65 rating is ridiculous and of course it always looks silly since every year you are supposed to be the next up and coming "superstar" of the league but cant even hit a freethrow.

Quite frankly i dont even play pro am so it sucks when all i do is want to play park and be a NBA star. But yet i cant make freethrows until midway through the season

I'm a 6'11 Two Way Athletic C that only has Bronze FT Ace and on HOF MyCareer I'm shooting 225/284=79.2%, maybe try out release 54?

I would highly recommend not playing rec center or pro am games untiles they patch tings. It's just horrible. It's either a steal or 3 every time. Like every game, There's about 20 combined steals per team, and 25 combined threes per team. Each team has at least 1 guy with 9-10 threes.

Real defense is non existent. It's either steal or make. Steal or make. Horrible.

WHY do they have to change things up to this level! I get used to 2k18 and love the feel of pro-am, and they pull this crap the next year!

I always choose A-Train for my nickname. it seems to be the most decent one.
and also choose the name Darnell Andrews to relate to the "A"

Funnily enough I miss more with Bronze Freethrow Ace than I did when I had no badge.


Hell, I had more greens without the badge than I do now that I have it. It's rediculous right now

OK, so I fully understand that I can change playing minutes for myself and the rest of my team's players.


1. so am I also able to change bench member to starter, and starter to bench member?
2. will this allow me to change myself or other teammates' positions??? for example, if I'm a SF for the LA Lakers , can I play LBJ as a SF, and myself as a point guard ??

there's a rumor that if you're a SF , and your primary skill is playmaking, you will be able to call plays just like point guard. is this true?


also, is that the case if you're a SF, and your primary skill is playmaking, and your secondary skill is something other than playmaking??


lastly, how about if you're a PF? if my primary skill is playmaking, will I be able to call plays just like point guard?

Can you sim games and still get the VC for that game? Or does it have to be played in order to get the VC you signed a contract for?

You definitely can on a pure point forward, I'm unsure about the rest of your queries, but I'm 99.9% certain, pf/c's can't go primary ball handling.

You don't have to play the full game, but you can't just sim past it. If you play and get up by a certain amount of points I believe you can just ask out with VC and sim the rest of the game

Just create a new player, and change his name when you go through the process.
