Looked at the NBA put back leaders from last year. Only 2guys in the league scored over 4 pts a game on putbacks. Only 7 over 3 pts, and 3 or 4 of those 7 shot under 60 percent. Steve Dams is at 52 percent. So irl the best players in the world arent automatic on standing layups.

If they are going to hold us to that standard why not hold the sharps as well ? The best shooters are no where near 70% from 3.

Layups have been fine for me today though.

I guarantee a lot of those weren’t totally open. I’m literally only talking about open standing layups. I’m not saying all standing layups or all putbacks. I’m talking about the ones the game is actually registering as being open but are regularly clanking (for me anyways) despite what appears to be decent timing.

Yup, thank god I picked 6'9 so I wouldn't need to grind another build. Its gonna be interesting seeing smaller centers and pfs more often.

For anyone interested:

Nba2klab: Defensive stopper is being changed. Your natural position is now what matters, not your position on the team anymore. Additionally, anyone within 3 inches of your height will be affected regardless of their position. E.g. 6'7 players affect 6'4 - 6'10

My teammate in jrc got fouled on 3pt jumpshot twice in one game. Both times when he was taking shot while opponent reaches in.

I feel like offline on All-Star the layup make/miss ratio is very solid now. Also, this might be placebo, but playing with the meter off and feedback on, I feel like they changed the timing somewhat, because I probably get like 40 percent greens on layups now, which is incredible for me.

Yea me neither..was hoping to get used to it by playing career games.

I do feel a difference in shot contest though even if its a small sample size.

Yh it's weird i'm not seeing the thin bar thing. I see it in other ppls gameplay videos, but when i'm playing its just not there. But yh shot contest do feel a bit different for me too.

It's easier to see in views that are closer to the controlled player (though it should always be there regardless). Try using the myCareer default camera and stay close to your assignment - it should show up pretty visibly then.

I'm more talking about the thin bar under the player though. Mike said it's white but changes color depending on the effectiveness of contest. Like it can change yellow or red to represent light or heavy contest. I don't see this thin bar at all under my players when i'm defending though.
