This game is ridiculous.
Last night I joined a group of 4 guys, that I didn’t know, for a few games of Rec. They clearly all knew each other.
Before the game they were telling the PG not to cost us the game and I thought they were joking.
He was a Shot Creating Sharp PG. He didn’t make a PG for PG reasons, he made one so that he would always have the ball. He went on to take over 30 shots in the first game and between the rest of us we took maybe 3 shots a piece.
He would come down the court do a couple of cheesy moves and take a 3, most of which went in. He has 1 assist and no one else had less than 3. I lead the team as the PF with 6. We win by 6 points, he had 45.
Next game, more of the same. He again shot over 30 shots, this time his percentage wasn’t as good as the first game, he only made like 55% of his shots this game again 1 assist. We lost the game by 4 and they finally said if you’d pass the ball like a PG, we could have won. He said look at my stats, I’m the reason that we even had a chance.
Next game as the game is starting, he invited the opposing teams PG to the party so that he could tell him he was gonna drop 40 on his head.
They started having me and the other PF, playing SF, bring the ball up so that we could actually have some semblance of a PG.
The game ends and he put up 40 shots, about 45% and scored 34. He gave up 37. We won because all but two players from the other team quit.
The last game that I played with them, we lost, because he invites the PG we just played against to play with us. Between the two of them they shot about 60 shots and I had 1.
Every single game we played I, the 6’11” two-way post scorer, lead the team in assists.

Lol you have more patience than me. Would've booted that dude out the party or left after the first game. Players like that don't change.

To housh's point the just loading you into a lobby with people, showing overall and showing hype (which is like what park had that rookie-pro etc) tends to get you in games a lot more than having to wait got next with people who do complex background checks

Does Beluba post here anymore? Has he even said a word about how laughably easy the shooting is. I just don't get how they can't see this pushes people away from playing the game long term, the gameplay online becomes so stale so quickly because everyone who didn't make a pure sharp doesn't feel like grinding to make one and just moves onto another game.


The fact everyone can make 3s in play online makes me stay away from that mode outside of playing it at my brother in laws. I usually play 100+ PNO games, right now I'm at 11 total with no desire having to close out on Jordan Bell anymore.

Like I said before game release:
Whatever is overpowered from the start is there to stay through out game span. People invested real money to create pure sharps thus shooting cannot be nerfed.

This mycareer progression and monetization model is disaster and don't let the game become as good as it can be because the bogus feedback from too heavy time/money investment. And it affect all game modes more or less.

People run away from Pro/elite rep because they arleady know who are they facing

Probably busy working on the patch that will actually balance the game. If I recall that hands up defense needed to be tuned so that there's no delay. If they can do it this year....

Legit dude. I feel scammed, I was so hyped reading those tweets and stuff, and then look at what we get lol. Online gameplay is wack. It's so obvious what can be done to make the game 10x better but they're not doing it. ATM I'm not buying 2k20 and I'm not gonna believe the hype next year, will prob wait for reviews if I want it at all.

I bought NHL and FIFA, and got to load them up and immediately play with a competitive MyPlayer. It was a thing of beauty to play online and not be incredibly disadvantaged and just have some fun instead.

Look how discipline we need to be to get a stop also look what are they doing for entire shot clock.

We force them to take 2s and they refuse to take them because from their experience they know somehow someone will stuck on a screen or on the wrap around...

Before us they won vs team 21-4 doing exactly this so thats why people dont want to play with pro rep...

Also somewhere in the middle i accidentally used a pushoff to get a bucket i wanted to set a screen im not doing that cheese.

Lol at just past the 6 minute mark, your boy gets one of those terrible layup animations off a cut and almost gets blocked.

It’s funny how teams will run around for 20 seconds passing up open dunks hunting for 3s. That’s how certain they are that they’ll drop. You also got kinda lucky because it seemed like only one of them was actually shooting and the other guy didn’t really collect many of their misses.
