When you fixed yours, what changes did you make? It looks like Coach2K already posted a picture of the differences between NBA 2K18 and 2K19.
Shooters set over 90, set to 99 for pure shooters.
    Non-shooters set to 1 or 10, inside PF/C set to 0.
There are a lot of guys who fall between 2-89, but there has to be an expected action for a shooter like Redick/Klay and it can't be something that's randomly decided every other fast break.

Is this working better in transition alone? What about double teams? I was seeing guys open on the 3pt line cut towards help instead of stay beyond the 3pt line for the pass out for the shot

To be honest I don’t see this tendency controlling that, and I haven’t seen much of that anyway. Is anyone else seeing it?

Im seeing it more during halfcourt situations vs fast breaks.

Or I should say, it pisses me off more during the halfcourt situtations. Badwell will stay, but Heild and Bogdan will cut the moment the button is pressed.

coach, if i may ask - what do u have for,

POE - patient offense, shoot at will?
                Default Freelance Offense?
                Ace - on or off?
Rebounding - run in transition or clash the boards?
Play calling - auto or manual?
Coaching Sliders - play calling frequency?

I usually don’t touch my Poe’s. I was in point freelance. Ace off. Didn’t touch rebounding so not sure. Play calling manual. Play calling frequency 85.

Is it my style of play causing this or do other people experience it?

Outside editing the roster or lead passing is there a way to help this problem?

I have the same issue as well, I also use the Pacers only, so maybe thats our problem, lol. It seems every time Im in transition and kick it out to either of these guys, it ends up a 2 pot shot.

I play mycareer on superstar and im on the Lakers and when we have the fastbreak, whenever i get the rebound, i always have to outlet pass to lebron once he’s inside the 3 point line/top key area so he can properly drive and dunk it. When i pass it to him earlier say the halfcourt line or hashmark line, he ALWAYS does that spot up shot from LONG RANGE 2 pointer. Its not even just lebron. Im using him as an example someone like lebron who’s driving and finishing tendency is like 99 and he does a long range 2 pointer its ridiculous.

Transition 3PT and Dribble Pull-Up 3PT/Mid Tendencies are controlling that behavior and they are set far too high for most players on the 2K official roster IMO.

The game seems to decide behavior in order from distance (current location). If a player has a 99 drive tendency, but crosses from 3PT range to Mid range, then the next "decision" is whether Shot Tendencies are high in that Mid range. This kind of logic plays out all over the place and MyCareer just isn't configured to be a good game of basketball between the default roster and default sliders. The default roster's Tendencies are one of the best in 2K history (s/o bedwardsroy), but the scales/ranges (min/max) still aren't correctly balanced with gameplay sliders to make players true to self in some cases.

                              Dead thread?

I've been having this issue all year and had no idea how to fix it. Finally found the answer the other day so figured I'd share...

In Edit Player, go to Tendencies and scroll to the Freelance tab. Go down to the Transition Spot Up Three slider (I think this was what it was called but its something very close if not) and max it to 99 for everyone you want to shoot threes.

I pretty much did it for everyone except non shooting big men. I even did it for non shooters who are athletic since it gives you a much cleaner lane to collect the pass and drive to finish instead of cutting towards the ball handler before you even have the ball.

This completely fixed the problem for me, and my guys run straight to the correct places and spot up in transition. It's completely changed the game for me and made it so much more realistic.

Draymond Green literally doesn't take corner threes in this game LOL. It's a long two every single time.
