People complain how 2k is becoming arcade basketball jam but that's actually what they want. People don't want to learn stuff in game anymore. How to make a good and smart pass, how to protect the ball. No way man, I want the game to protect me, when my pass gets stolen that's never my fault, or when I got the ball stolen. I am playing my career with a 67 rated PG on superstar and I average 2-3 turnovers a game, because first of all, it's not all about me, I don't need to average 40-20-30, I am happy as long as I feel I am contributing and we are getting towards a win. Second thing, not every pass has to be an assist, sometimes you just have to share the ball.


But 2k will cater to the people complaining the whole fcking time. Game will become easy again, passes won't be getting stolen, passes will always be successful, but the people will find something else to complain and so on until 2k20 release, rinse and repeat.


I myself, can be now called a old school gamer, been playing basketball games since 2002, 2k since 2k9, and never really got into online playing, I love it from time to time, but my bread and butter is playing against the CPU. If 2k makes a game with a good CPU, I am happy, that's pretty much all I need. I see people complaining about art updates. I mean, yeah, Covington's hairstyle is from like 3 years ago, maybe 2k waits that he starts wearing it again. There are other players/things as well, but guess what, I live with it, I don't spam twitter, OS, reddit etc. with shouting FIX the damn whatever it is. The whole community need to chill.


The guy here crying about he was losing on all star and how he will stop playing the game. Maybe get fcking better.

you guys dont know what you want.

all last year this community especially this board complained about passes going through players..onball and passing lane.

now we're back to bad passes not being penalized. i noticed about earlier this week that onball steals we're tuned, you really dont have to use L2 anymore and there were more foul calls when attempting to steal the ball.


there are real issues, game breaking issues like open 3pt %'s and all they did there was buff shot contests which is nothing but a band-aid. all the while award people for bad passes and dribbling in front of people face up.

Lol except passing lanes steals are still there and strong. Why do you believe there’s only 2 options? Everything goes through people or everyone is running around like linebackers? I’m pretty sure there’s a reasonable middle ground out there.

You're right, the game is perfect and people just need to get better.

Us old school guys that like playing the CPU are the only ones left who care about playing sim. We're really a dying breed.

I just installed the patch. There are no nike sleeves in edit player also in mycareer. Simmons isnt wearing a nike sleeve.

The game has been out a month and the NBA season hasn't even started, yet some of you guys want this game to be completely overhauled already. It takes time to do what some of you guys want done. They can't do everything at once and put it in a patch or we wouldn't see another patch until the All Star Break. If they did that, people would complain that it's taking too long to patch, or that the game is dead, and then others (who are complaining their thing isn't in this patch) would say "They should just put out what they have done in smaller patches!"


Some of you need to find some other games to fill some of your time so you won't be nitpicking this thing to death.

I don't own the game and I hope this patch makes the game better. But it bothers me that the game was released not so long ago and there has already been 4 patches. Like 4 gameplay patches? I think this is crazy and 2K needs to change their ways. Game should release in a better state and already beta tested. I don't think there should that many patches in such a short period of time. Something is wrong with how 2K does it. The direction should be clearer and the product a lot more polished from the get go.

Un f'n believable....

Updated list of things that STILL weren't fixed from this last patch....


-No fix for extension eligibility for 1st round picks (guys would have an original contract length of 4 years yet a pop up would say that they ineligible due to having less than 4 years) - also affects ML offline

-No fix for RFAs not signing with you even after matching their offer sheet.

-Games are still disconnecting, just not due to the timeout timer running out

-Game results sometimes still won't register, even if it shows up initially, when returning to the league you may see a different score and result

-No fix for age bug in custom draft classes. Prospects being anywhere from -2078 to 15 years old. They only mentioned historic draft classes

-Game still bricks when there's an injury and users are unable to continue the game

-Injuries still occur even with injuries set to off (lmao)

-30 user MLO draft is undoable from what I've experienced. Game doesn't recognize other users readying up. Freezes at start, need to leave and come back. Game will sometimes change users picks. Or if that's not enough, it may just instantly auto draft the entire draft even with users present.
Thats all if you can even pick a team and enter the lobby

-Unable to negotiate with or sign guys via extension in MLO

-Can't boot users (cmon bro)

-Users are sometimes unable to advance to the offseason in MLO

Yeah one was online only but exactly when do they have time to make a perfect game in an 8 month cycle?

That kind of thinking is insanity.
