Injuries need to be patched, there are so many injuries in this years game is bs. In my MYGM I'm on Nov 16th, and there have been 34 injuries. Either that or allow us to raise or lower the injury slider. Why they make you choose the injury slider only at the beginning of the MYGM is bs

This is how I'm feeling days after the patch (in MyCareer):

1. Steals are still too easy. I'm still getting ripped with ease by players with low stealing and no pick pocket. The passing lane steals are still very high.

2. Shot contests are broken. As a big man I feel I cannot even make as many open layups as I did before. With them buffing the shot contest (if if they contest me from way behind), any slight contest makes me miss most shots. And I do have good layups and good finishing badges. And layups was already broken for big men before this patch.

3. Blocks are a big problem. The AI just mistime their blocks so much but they get rewarded with stupid body blocks. I can't count the amount of times I've been blocked by their leg, stomach, armpit, chest, ***.... and so on.

4. Fouls are a big problem. They still reach in like crazy..... even if they're not defensive players. It's big problem for me, because my ball control isn't good at all.

5. The AI still make the most heavily contested shots. It seems if you give a little lead, they won't miss for the rest of the game.

6. Double teaming is still there. As a big man, it's big problem for me. If I can't post up I can't score. And pick and roll plays are hard because the computer will just read the pass into the lane.

Also, it feels they've buffed up the AI's defense in the later patch. I'm struggling to post up players with low/medium defense attributes. Never was a case before the patch

Yes, I play on hall of fame. But before the patch, it wasn't this bad. It literally makes the game unplayable.... with all the stealing, reaching in, turnovers, the computer making most shots. I've played from pro to hall of fame.... and I feel no difference in terms of the difficulty. Yeah, the computer misses a little more and you can make a few more shots. But the defense, the steals, the fouls and the double teaming are still high, regardless of what difficulty you play.

But they didnt fix the MYGM sim engine?? Really? No reason why the Celtics should be anywhere below the 4 seed in the sim. No reason why the Warriors and Rockets should have below 50 wins. Sim this year like last year is bs and ruins the realism of the game

Yeah when those numbers come out..people say they leave but the numbers keep increasing

I see people complain but actually don't stop buying

Just stop buying it if you're so upset about it all the time... Or get it when it's cheap enough to where you feel it's worth you money

But that doesn't happen and you can tell when people don't play other games and 2K only because of the their frequent emotional lashing

Guys like ksutton and Rockie, I'm not even talking about them.. Just the ones who come threatening nobody on message boards about leaving instead of just doing that

Posted this in the PNO thread. I'm posting it here too in case anyone doesn't frequent that thread...

Okay, the more that I play this game after the patch, the more that I can accept and enjoy the gameplay. Being able to use the Pacers all the time has been a WELCOMED change. I'm guessing that I wasn't able to develop proper muscle memory before, so I couldn't stay consistent with shot releases. I'm running plays much better, and getting quite a few excellent releases. The open matchmaking across tiers and levels is nice, because I enjoy playing against multiple teams and skills as I could be matched with someone from the level above me. It reminds of the days when you got matched up against whomever regardless of their ranking on the leaderboard. I might move up to Junior College just to unlock the Classic Pacers though. Paul George under the new patch would be a great asset, and Turner is too soft of a rim protector for my taste.

All in all, the game is relatively solid in PNO from a gameplay and competition standpoint. I haven't ran into a 3PT bomber yet, so my opinion may still change regarding contested shots. However, I really don't have any complaints.

I’ve tried all the fixes that I could find. I tried different monitors and resolutions but still have stuttering and FPS problems. My gtx 1080 runs it well. Does anyone else have this issue? I might use DDU and try that later.

The nerf on passing lane steals was a bit too harsh IMO. Too many people are getting away with poor decision making. I've seen passes go through defenders since the update. SMH.

Surprised that the PC patch has yet to be released....

I fear that, after a couple of years of nearly-equal treatment, PC users are going to be relegated back to afterthought status because of the Steam review brigading that's been going on.

My bigger fear is that they'll stop releasing the game on PC altogether because of it.

I don't think passing lane steals were touched.

You're right, but I do noticed the difference post-patch. I can't get steals from passing lanes anymore and I'm a rebouding-rim protector.

Pre-patch, I was getting 2-3 steals per game (online).

I fear that, after a couple of years of nearly-equal treatment, PC users are going to be relegated back to afterthought status because of the Steam review brigading that's been going on.

My bigger fear is that they'll stop releasing the game on PC altogether because of it.

I have felt the same, but as long as the sales don't drop off too much, my guess is that it won't be a problem. About 3 months ago there was a Steam leak that showed player numbers for games and 2K18 was at 537k. The series on PC has shown a slow growth, as 2K17 was at 501k, and 2K16 at 469k.

So while I don't like the review brigading at all, I'm hopefully that 2K won't ignore the decent sized playerbase on PC going forward. Obviously the numbers are nowhere as big as the console versions, but still.

Anyways, I think the patch will drop sometime this week. I recall the last patch coming very quickly so this one taking more time is odd.

i Hit more than i should before the Patch, i Hit more than i should after the Patch. both Times i manage to Hit around 42/43% from deep over a course of multiple games, which is better than any nba Team.

Ok, I complimented this patch after a few games playing online when it was released. But after playing more games, I was still seeing issues that they said they fixed on patch 4.

1. I'm still seeing incorrect jerseys in Rec.
2. I didn't see any difference in shot contest effectiveness. It feels the same to me. Or shooting is just too OP at this point.
3. Steals after rebounds. It still happens a lot.
4. Yes, they increased the fouls on spam steals, but spam steals are still very effective on non-defensive players.

2K said that the All-Star Weekend would be scheduled correctly in Start Today mode, but it’s not... It doesn’t even show up at all.
