Obviously you have not been to every planet.
On planet 2k, many magical things can happen.

What?? So what do you suggest glasscleaners get?? Better offense?? Then everyone would cry even more saying how OP it is. Glasscleaners dont even have good defensive stats i dont know where you got that from.Comment

Anything with shot creator. There’s no point for a wing to even pick slasher because shot creators slash just as well.
Rebounder builds aren’t OP to me. I think it’s more to do that everyone and their mama makes a wing so when you go against a rebounding build, you should expect to struggle to get boards. Glass Cleaners shouldnt get such good defensive stats though...
Pure post or post/shot creators that can do that cheese post hop stepback that creates 3 feet of space are lowkey OP.Comment

Re: 2k19 WAYYY Over Powered Archetypes and Badges
My gripe is it seems certain stats only matter in the park...I went against a pure sharpshooter that was a 85 I'm a 2 way shot Creator defender(91)...we're both SFs....dude was running around wetting threes ,stealing the ball like it's nothing, and moving around the court real fast.
My team lost which is cool, but I go back and look at his build's ratings and the only 2 things that were at full max were 3s and stamina .. everything else pretty much wasn't touched(like literally)...
So how in the heck was he able to steal the ball so much? Move across the court so fast and do other random stuff with an incomplete build??..imo him shooting 3s and having lots of energy is a given but other than that he should've been a vegetable on the court
I'm trying to play park this year so could someone please explain the logic behind this madness to me lol?

Re: 2k19 WAYYY Over Powered Archetypes and Badges
3's are OP because even with the buffs to contests and lockdowns Primary 3pt builds have the ability to hit 100% of their open shots. Without addressing offensive speed, acceleration, movement too much from last year for those builds that makes Shooter's ticking time bombs for points.
So all he would need to do was run wraps(running around the ball handler forcing you to get the pickup ball-handler animation) or get into transition and it overLast edited by OrlandoTill; 10-17-2018, 10:44 PM.76 6"6" 180lbs Sharpshooting Playmaking SF

Re: 2k19 WAYYY Over Powered Archetypes and Badges
Stealing is OP because even with the patch certain bad steal animations of lunging covers too much ground realistically and there's no good way to flow from that lunge animation to something that's both responsive for the user and competitively viable(a pickup animation from a lunge, not touching the ball after Pressing Square and getting a wide animation hitbox, having him either move through your body and stop your movement when pressing Square or ghost through you).

To me, the game hasn't been out long enough to make these type of claims. Meaning, there aren't enough people who are high level to draw a conclusion. The majority of people aren't even a 94 overall yet, so it'll be interesting to see what things look like when more people with different builds get there.Comment

Re: 2k19 WAYYY Over Powered Archetypes and Badges
Anyone willing to bet that the 2k league will be on different sliders than the ones we play on? They did that last year, they claimed the proam shooting was fine, yet lowered it for the leagueI guess having guys shoot from the hashmarks for the majority of their makes would be a bad look, yet they let it persist for us.

I saw a 6'5 pure sharp with minimum wingspan chase down block a 7'0 athletic finisher that was in takeover, I actually saved the clip it was so stupid.
Sharps can do everything, they were given defensive stopper for some reason so they have random acts of incredible defense.Comment
