OFFICIAL NBA 2K19 Roster Update Thread (No Ratings Discussion)

Activate Georges Niang for the Jazz and put Tony Bradley in the rest.

Bradley has played 0 games this season, meanwhile Niang has played in all 6.

Jared Dudley is still the starter for the Nets, Hollis-Jefferson is coming off the bench.

Dwight Powell & Maxi Kleber’s positions need to be switched around, Powell is the backup center and Kleber gets PF minutes.

Salah Mejri’s minutes should be at 0 he only plays in blowouts, Jalen Brunson should get his minutes instead.

Are we ever gonna get a new roster update? I'm itching to start my season with the Hornets but not until they fix their away socks to match their jersey color. Lakers and a few other teams too.

It looks like the roster that went live this past Saturday fixed quite a few team colors for teams. The Hornets had teal socks and arm/leg sleeves with their Icon uniforms and the Lakers, Celtics, and Rockets among others also got corrected (arm/leg sleeve team colors and sock team colors ). Thank you Beds/2KStauff for making those changes.

I know 2k is waiting for all teams city uniforms to be released in real life before they will be added in the game, but does anybody have an expected release date? Waiting to start myleague until new uniforms are added.

Assistant Coaches still not updated for the Cavs, Heat, Jazz, Kings, Lakers, Mavs, Magic, Pels, Raptors, Rockets, Thunder, Blazers, Wizards, Warriors (Mike Brown). They updated many of their contacts but not the actual coaches. That’s damn near half the league!!!! This puzzles me when many of these coaches are retired players that are already in the game on classic teams!!!! Do better please roster devs. I’m beyond the age to complain about ratings. I can adjust those myself. The coach heads on the other hand are mostly face scans of ppl that work at 2K and not those of unemployed coaches or retired players. What happened to realism.

I agree; I know not everyone cares about player gear/team colors, but for those like myself that do, I really hope 2K considers giving us full customization options for team colors for player accessories. For example, we should be given the options to select from a color palette for accessory colors (arm sleeves, leg sleeves, headbands, etc) for each jersey (Icon, Association, Statement, and City) along with the sock and sneaker colors for each jersey (team color or white/black). When I had the PC version of the previous NBA 2K games, I was able to edit accessory colors for every team jersey using a user-created tool that only took a matter of minutes, so I really hope we are given the option to do so in the future so we won't have to be waiting on and begging 2kStauff to make these changes. One can only hope I guess

I'm 2000%on board with you boss. I cant understand why they don't give FULL customization of players to us. The socks are killin me. I'm wondering if,like the whole shoes BS, theres some kind of stipulations set by the NBA as to where you must stay within the uniforms rules of the ACTUAL league itself...even in a damn videogame.

Ron Adams is still an assistant coach for the Warriors, so he is fine..... Everyone else though is an issue.

I’m not that upset about the Warriors even though Brown is the associate head coach. But 2K got this wrong even in 2016 when Walton was on their staff

This is probably the worst managed 2K game ever in terms of new content including roster updates.

The Hornets don’t wear official NBA socks.

The Suns are wearing white accessories away. They wear purple accessories away which is their official uniform colour. Just because they wore white for one week the roster guy decides to make the away accessories white.

The Bulls away accessories are red, again, which is their official uniform colour. However they are black in the game which is incorrect.

The Cavs are wearing wine coloured accessories and socks at home which is incorrect. All home accessories should be white. Again, just because they wore coloured accessories at home for one game doesn’t mean to change the whole roster to a reflect this.

So many changes need to be made and I’m not sure 2K are taking this seriously

Roster editors aren’t listening to the community. I feel like the AI devs listen to us more and we know nothing about programming.
