It's hilarious people try to argue with the low iq response of "you're mad that dodgeball doesn't work in a basketball game?"

First off.... I paid $100 for the game. Every SINGLE *** **** MODE 100% SHOULD BE PLAYABLE. This is different from glitches and flaws. The mode DOESNT EVEN START.

2nd.... Winning the game at least for me is easy. That's 25k VC I don't have to grind for. Everyone knows the VC payouts are total trash and not at all comparable to how much they charge you for items. I've won dodgeball 7x. Now ever since this incompetent trailer trash company released the last patch that had "various improvements to dodgeball" 0 dodgeball games have started.

I remember someone maybe czar saying 2k has to keep adding stuff like that because they have to compete with aaa games with more content. I understand the spirit of his argument but it struck me as odd. Why can't you compete on bball alone and if you can't then why are you putting so many resources into it to try?



Seems like a lose lose. I do agree w the last few years wishing I could play some pool at my house tho haha. But that's like a quality of life thing. Adding a mode like dodgeball is very strange. Even tho I think it was generally well received. Dudes I know were happy when they won. It's just amazing if it really is broken or if my league really is broken past yr 1 (no one has confirmed that to me yet but people keep saying it.)



Basketball is basketball, why does it have to compete w fps? I don't understand that at all. If more people like fps than bball then develop a better fps gm and put more resources into it. Stick to bball w 2k.



It's like they're trying to turn 2k into an mmo that people never log off of.

Also this was in the patch notes..."End-of-game improvements to the Dodgeball experience." but yet again dodgeball doesnt work today.. neither the 1015am or 715pm games. LMAO. End of game improvements? The start of the game doesnt even exist..............

It's horrible. And dodgeball itself is plagued with choppy animations. It's garbage. Redball/blue is much better imo. It's basically 50/50 that you'll win, if you enter.

Whats going on is 2KSports Management does not give a damn, and maybe it goes all the way to the top of Take Two, since the HDR, and PS4 Pro issue with RDR2 have yet to be spoken on.

So Im guessing the powers at the top are muzzling them, because even addressing the issue is a negative to them. What else could it be?

I cant think of one other highly played AAA game from other publisher where the only communication is about "how great the game is", or if there is a fix thats needed, they only talk about it afterwards (if it every comes) and how it "improved things

Dodgeball hasnt started for me for the last 2 weeks. Thats 5 of the 9 weeks this game has been out that dodgeball just doesnt start after I take the time to go over to the waiting area. Wait 5 minutes for nothing to start.
Red ball blue ball hasnt worked for over a week now as well. Half the time I dont even see the waiting area for R.B.B.B. Ive gone onto 2k chat support at least 10x... every single time they tell me a different excuse. Every single time they blame the consumer

Trivia also didnt start today .. it says in game events its starting at 6pm eastern time. 6pm came and went no trivia. 2K support told me "its a sync error. Your console and game are not synced with ours." Uhm okayyyyyyy if thats really the reason (its not its just trash bs excuse) then WHY DIDNT YOUR SERVERS SYNC MY GAME.... I CANT DO THIS MYSELF YOU MORONS.

I agree the game should work, but if your spending hours talking to 2k support (out sourced overseas, simply using scripts to tell you how to do things) I think your wasting your own time.

You know darn well that their chat or even phone support won't do anything to start dodgeball. They may correct a vc error, maybe, but they don't have the power to change the game. You know that, yet you probably spent two hours talking to someone venting frustration.

Best to bring, in a constructive way, criticism to the devs on twitter or other platforms. And just wait for a fix
