I hate sharps. This OP bs ruins the fun out of the game.

Once sharps/stretches get the HOF badges, it's a wrap. 35 footers, hand in face, don't matter.

I've started playing rec center more and man, this is unbearable, so far from the realism it can hardly be called basketball.

Mike, anybody, PLEASE, nerf the shooting across the board! Make getting greens harden, make that window shorter, shooting off the dribble on the move penalty should be higher etc.

It's ridiculous at the moment. And on the other hand layups are so hard to make and so easy to contest and stop. 3 pt % is probably higher than around the rim %, that's crazy, that's nothing like real basketball.

It is so frustrating to play online, I don't know how Mike doesn't see that.

And every sharp has the same release.

I am satisfied with the game offline, I love to play it, but man, online, that's a completely different thing. And if that's their selling point, I am not impressed at all

The cherry on top of the $&!^ sundae that is 2K19's archetype system is that somehow, someone at 2K thought it would be fair and balanced to give sharpshooter SGs gold quick reflexes and bronze defensive stopper on top of their otherworldly standing and moving shooting abilities.

So not only are sharp SGs the most dangerous offensive build in the game, but they also get the best passing lane steal animations, loose ball steal animations, and pass catching animations of any archetype that's not a lockdown defender, plus they lower all of their matchup's badges by 1 level, and they lower all of their matchup's attribute ratings by 3 points.

All of this on-court power is given a build that, according to its in-game description, is supposed to be the virtual equivalent of Marco Belinelli.

              it really is a joke.

Think everyone is now running around with that 1 handed magic johnson release shooting from just pas mid court.

also the accuracy on bucket to bucket passes is ridiculous.

after a rebound its either a steal or pin point laser dart to someone in the corner on the other side for a quick 3.

not to mention im getting easy green releases with my no badge LDD 65 3pnt from the corner using trey burke jump shot........

2K doesn't care. They want greeeeeeeens.

Laughable to call this game a simulation anymore.

Had to guard a stretch 4 last night and it was so damn annoying. This dude was just doing the left-right-left-right junk on and off the ball, but the problem is that if you don't jump at the shot, it won't count as a contest. Even if you're standing right in front of him.

But if you jump...then he can just side step and get an open shot

Mike hit y’all with the bait and switch. Seriously where has he been?

7 foot stretches should only be able to equip set shots..none of them irl jump 2 feet in the air like trey Burke’s. What 7 footer has a quick release?

There community has actually been vocal this year about sharps but where are the devs?

It’s really killing the game for me. We’re not talking about catch and shoot here. Dudes dribble around screens for 15 seconds and then launch. Or dribble across half and shoot from 6 feet behind the arc.

so who in nba history can actually shoot fade away 3 off the dribble from well beyond the 3 point line?

moving 3 is ridiculous quite frankly....

                                This thread: @Beluba.

The entire pro-am gameplan is centered around
                                1) Getting sharps open
                                2) Defending sharps
                                3) The effects of sharps (crazy spacing, etc)

Why? 'Cause the 2K version of basketball has made it that way with godlike shooters.

This is a skewed version of basketball. Boring.
