We honestly need a sim gameplay mode and arcade gameplay mode at this point.

Every mode online is the later, we desperately need the former.

Wonder if the next focuse for 2k will be fixing the start today mode. Last time I tried to use that you couldn't use the training/practice feature for players, no All Star Break, and some other things were screwy.

The illegal screens are a f*** joke. I dont move the LS at all but the game decides to move me into the opponent.


2k, doing something without user input in a game is horrible design...

I set 100 Screens yesterday and non of them was called.


So people should start to understand basketball rules instead of crying to patch things.


This illegal screen calls would help to avoid the zig zag cheese of the sharps, but 2k helps them every time to succeed and to cheat.


That has nothing to do with skills, nothing to do with fair competition.

no fix on the rate of 3s dropping from all ranges or on the move and also no fix on the amount of wide open lay ups missing.

not to mention no fix on bigs goings for messed up lay ups rather then going for the wide open dunk.

also no fix for bigs elbowing other bigs to another area code for a wide open shot if they are lucky enough will be a dunk rather then another brick lay up .....

I dont get it, for my playmaking shotcreator is it easier to hit a 3 or even a limitless 3 instead of an open mid range! makes no sense...


Success for a 3 is set like to 99%

What I've never understood is park players advocating for sim basketball .
People make a player try to max him out to show off and stunt in my park oy my court or whatever these fancy game modes are called and the same time complain about the sim element of the game ..

That there always baffles me ...offline leagues the cpu is broken the gameplay is broken and the A.I is the worst cheating A.I in every sportsgame out there .
The moment 2k started catering to these rainbow haired afro having flashy colour beards and dreads having my player dude is the moment 2k took the exit off the sim autobahn and went a different direction.

2k is not sim and the way its looking now it will remain a pegi 3 arcady game and a micro transaction first sports game .

As a person who only has time for offline and some park when I can get together with 1 or two friends, I disagree. Yea Pro am and rec skew slightly more sim, but those modes have their own issues, plus the fact that you either have to join a team with 4 other randoms for rec, or need to somehow find 5 guys to get online at the same time for Pro-AM. Getting 5 of my friends together to do anything is tough at this point in life.


Park can be sim, or pretty close. At least it has to respect the basic fundamentals of basketball. Good shots rewarded and bad shots punished.

I dont think people are rallying for it to be hardcore sim, though I would love that mode. There still should be a better balance. A game where 3 point shooting and zig zag is like it is now is unbalanced. It creates games where its a rinse and repeat cycle, everyone with the same builds playing the same way, since there isnt much incentive not to.

I've played plenty of enjoyable park games this year, despite the flaws. A slight tweak here or there and we are in an even better place.

Welp here's another reason people don't want microtransactions in the game. It is common practice for companies to cater their gameplay to big spenders or "whales" when microtransactions are involved even though they are a small subset of the player base. That's what you are seeing when 2k retracts some gameplay fixes that were used to curb cheesing. They don't want their revenue stream to take a hit because of a silly thing like "simulation basketball" lol.

I feel like a parent where I'm not angry I'm just disappointed. You're better than this 2k.

LeBron face looks good but his beard needs to be squared off on the sides. It’s a little thin and it makes his jaw seem too narrow. But overall I like it better. Lance Stevenson and Tyson Chandler need fuller beards. And KCP needs a headband........ c’mon 2k

Please give KCP, Jarret Allen, and Ben Simmons headbands. Ben Simmons just started wearing his so I understand, but the other 2 been wearing them for months ffs.

The shooting animations seem sped up some and the shot meter seems different. I played a game tonight for the first time in about 4 weeks. Can someone tell me if they adjusted them over the past month. I swear shooting feels nothing like it did at launch.
