Honestly, I haven't played a single game of JRC or Park due to this whole elitism attitude. I just don't have time to be hopping from circle to circle trying to get a game in. Heck, I don't like waiting more than a minute in the PNO mode.

Well take a look at your record. If its less then .500 no one wants to play with you. Im one of those picky people in park also. If your not an amateur 3 dont play. If your record is less then .500 dont play. I understand it sounds kinda like elitist but i wanna play the game to win and maximize MyPoints. No one plays this game to lose. No one wants to lose. And you cannot tell me you have ‘fun’ playing this game to lose.

I'm amateur 3 with a 4-0 record that I got from playing Xmas day brown shirts.

How does that correlate to my skill? I did nothing special, just got lucky with teammates.

Man I feel you guys pain. I've had this issue in the past 2ks. It'd be just 2 of us and we can't ever get a 3rd because we are beneath the elitists.

Now, for the most part we have quite a few friends that play. Yeah we want to win, we try to play smart and we hate losing as well. But it's not the end of the world if our record is trash (because it is). We're just trying to hoop.

Besides I noticed alot of the pro and elite players with over .500 records are the players that know all the "cheese" moves.

With all that being said, any of you all that play in the playground during the weekend and need someone to run with shoot me a PM with your gamertag and you can roll with us.

Nothing is more satisfying then coming with a squad of the bball version of the bad news bears and putting an L over the elitists heads.

Oh and this is for ps4.

Win % with no minimum games required. I hit Am2 at a whopping 2-0.

It's not a good system, and people really rely on it to determine skill.

Yeah on my other account everything diminished back to Am1 for both park and rec. Had rec up to pro1 at one point but that was long long ago.

I only play park with guys I know, and they have awful records. IDC. I just want to play.

I played with a random little squeaking kid the other day who screamed his precious lungs off at me saying "YOU'RE SELLING ME BRUUUUH"

well i just got done waiting on circles again and just closed the mode for good. yeah i can admit my record is bad 22-60 or something like that but i have literally never played more than 1 game with the same group. Most of the time my teammates shoot me out of games and play hero ball while turning it over and taking heavily contested shots.

And this causes me to wait on circles while people check their phones to see my 30% win percentage and run off. And the only way to get out of this hole is for me to check other players records that playing with me and dodge them until i can string some wins together with some solid teammates? nah im good off that lol its a shame cuz i actually play defense i dont turn it over. i picked pure sharp because its the easiest build to play with strangers with and i wont need the ball to be somewhat effective in the park.

funny interaction the other day also was i got sent a message from a guy that he "carried me" along with the other guy on our team. We won the game and he had almost all the points. I believe i had 3 points. I went 1/2 while the guy who "carried us" took at least 14 shots. the third guy took probably 6 shots. this community is just cancer man lol im being a good teammate feeding this guy because hes cooking his man and im playing solid defense on the other end but at the end of the game im getting a message im basically dead weight on the team?

LoL. Man I have my PSN PMs set to Friends Only. So I don't get hit up. But some of my buddies I play with say they be getting messaged by cats saying their trash. Or my buddy who's a 2 way Athletic Finisher at the 5 got PM'd with someone saying 2 way for what?

sounds like a typical day at the playground.
the virtual world is just like the real world.
in the real world you usually have 2 courts. 1 for the amateurs/less skilled players. and 1 for those more skilled players.
the amateur courts hate when a highly skilled player invades their space, and vice versa.

There are a few key differences. First off, in real life, you can't tell whether a person is skilled or not without seeing them play. In 2K, people base their decisions off of some artificial information on their in-game phone.

Second, if you go to a real life court and call next, you're next. You aren't going to get bypassed just because you showed up without a full crew, and people aren't going to refuse to play with you because you aren't there every day.

True. If anything they'll be trying to ask you to run with you if you had next not debo you with a squad in the squad box.

On top of that, it's kind of an unknown rule that you should know where your skill level is at. If you aren't that good you play with the amateurs and if you are you are hooping with the big dogs (unless it's a long line of folks who got next on the hoopers court, then you just go hoop on the non hoopers court)
