    MyCareer:

    - The Grind/The Road to 99/MyPlayers

This should be left in the MyCareer Story mode. This will keep those who only care about grinding, exploiting and spamming the same moves away from those of us who really want to compete. This way you can make a max attributes "demi-god" player, but would be limited to this single player mode. Maybe even have a co-op mode where you can invite other MyPlayers to play with you or something

    - MyPark/JRC

This may be controversial, but My Players should not be allow in these PVP modes. Like every other multiplayer (lets take Overwatch for instance) There should be multiple predefined characters at each position, that each person can select from. Since Im using Overwatch, if I want to go healer I can either use Mercy or Zenyatta both with their strengths and weaknesses. In 2K, once matchmaking ques up and before the match starts we pick our position and pick the skillset. Lets say I go PG. I can pick the Playmaker or Shot Creator for example. This way the Meta is easier to control, and skills with the character really do matter. Also you dont have to build up different players if you want to play another position. We also don't have to worry about Mike Wang tuning and hotfixing every week trying to balance 100s of different create-a-player builds

    -MyPark/JRC Matchmaking

Bring back the real Rep System and make it actually matter. For JRC let your first 5-10 games be placement matches to put you in a tier group with other players that are in the same range. Games that are matched by rep can be Ranked. However also have an unranked mode for those who just want to chill and not deal with the tryhards all the time.

    -Emotes/Clothes

These can stay as they are or however they want to do it. Keep the matchup sequence before the games start that they have now, and also have a winners sequence that shows all the stats/and emotes if they want (see OverWatch end of match sequence)

    -Soundtrack

Only thing I would like to see is for them to go the NBA Live route, and remix the instrumentals while the games is playing, that way we can stream and upload videos with actual sound in them.

      PNO Mode...

Steal the single button press for celebration after a big play from NBA Live. I know that people complain about the automatic celebrations, but I would love to have that at my disposal at any given time.

I think this is already in the game. A white cursor should show up under the person you're going to pass to, depending on where you're pointing the left stick.

Steph Curry has never even come close to that level of shooting. Elite shooters still miss wide open shots, I don't know why 2k doesn't grasp this concept.

          2. I agree that a draw foul badge is actually neccesary.

          3. For pro am I would reduce the requirement from 5 players to 3-4.

          4. Pro am match making is ridicolous. When I first made my team all I was getting matched up with was gold teams. In older games at least 2k made an effort to match you up with pepole around your rank
#1 - At the end of the day 2K is a video game. If they nerfed shooting to the point of resembling NBA stat lines there wouldn’t be a skill gap. Think about it, if you’re guarding a sharpshooter, you may as well leave him open every single possession and let him shoot and help protect the paint instead. Adjusting to that NBA stat line he’s going to make roughly 4 out of 10 shots. That’s not efficient enough to be ProAm competitive. The way it’s designed is to create a skill gap, you’re rewarded with *likely* making an open shot for getting open and you’re defensively you’re punished by giving up that open shot if you fail to play proper defense.

#2 - No, it’s not necessary. Imagine a build with “draw foul” on gold or HOF. There would be a whistle nearly every driving attempt that resulted in contact. I’m open to the idea of keeping the game fresh and introducing some new badges but that’s the wrong idea. Someone would be at the FT line every other possession.

#3 - ProAm is meant to resemble real competitive basketball where teams play traditionally and run plays or a smart freestyle offense (off-ball screens, etc.) and a defense that can play man or zone. All just like the NBA. It’s hard to make 3v3 pure “sim style” because there’s a lack of creativity without street-ball style animations. Which, is why the Park mode exists.

          #4 - 100% agree

              Re: NBA 2K20 wishlist thread

I would like to see some kind of pressure sensitive steal button. Like a soft reach in and a hard reach in.

A quick tap of square would result in a soft reach where the defender is just trying to tap the ball or distract the defender. This could work for passes too where instead of going all out for the steal, it’s just a quick reach out of the hand that’s in the passing lane (or either hand if you aren’t in semi-deny) to try and get a fingertip on the ball but still be able to recover if timed well. Done at the wrong time, could result in a blow by. This rarely results in a steal or a foul. Kind of a low risk, low reward.

A hold of the square button would result in a hard reach where the defender jumps hard for the ball whether it be on the pass or on the ball. This would result in a foul or a steal on ball, or being way out of position or picking the pass off the ball. This would help the reach in foul issue that happens with the CPU and would turn down the amount of reach ins that result in fouls.

More long three-point attempts by the AI would be a really cool addition. More and more guys are stretching the floor to almost 30 feet (Ryan Anderson, Curry, Klay, LeBron, Brook Lopez, Harden), and it really has an impact on how teams play defensively.

And just to make sure it didn't get out of control, I think the level of a player's Limitless Range badge should dictate how far from the three-point line he's willing to shoot and/or spot up before receiving a pass. And if they don't have the badge at all, they should strictly shoot from right at the three-point line.

You're right! My contrast might be too high as I've been playing on my PS4 Pro in 4K. I looked closer today and you're right.

One thing the 2K simulated-stats engine has struggled with for a while is free throw attempts. James Harden has averaged 10 FTA per game for the last five seasons (and six of the last seven), including 11.5 FTA per game as of the 2019 All-Star Break. In a typical NBA 2K MyLeague, rarely will you see anyone at all average more than 6 or 7.

It'd be very realistic if this number was turned up, so we could see multiple players averaging 8 or more, and having the top 2 or 3 averaging double-digits.

Better body type/hair for players. Porzingis still looks way off with his hair and his size in the game. They made him look too bulky. This goes for most players that I've noticed.

Porzingis too bulky? He's damn near a stick figure in 2k... He hasn't been bulky since 2k17... I agree about his hair though
