I played 8 games yesterday.

None of the teammates I got matched with had winning records. Most of the games they quit after going down by just under 10 points.

I never get a good lineup with the matchmaking. Why do we need 3 of the same archetype?

When they quit even if the not is highly rated they are reduced to being mindless. They don't play defense on the perimeter and they don't contest shots. They even commit flagrant fouls!

Its frustrating as heck I don't really have people to play with like that so I just want to run a lil bit. Guess I have to give it up.

Walk On was 10000000 times better than this rec center mess.

90% of the bums in this thread will tell you "record doesn't matter!" though. If someone can't even maintain a 35% - 40% winning %, there's a great chance it's them. That's why they're so mad. It'd be nice if they were auto-kicked instead of the good players having to back out 100x.

It's crazy how bad people are at this game. Like legit bad with no basketball IQ. Don't get me wrong I do dumb things sometimes and get frustrated, which I'll usually sit back to calm down and stop doing dumb things. But these randoms are something else. And don't let me get stared on the weekend, kids out I full force.

Let's recap one thing...I do mainly play PNO, but I never said that I personally sucked or had a bad record in MyPark or JRC. That was the assumption YOU made about my skills. I play chess IRL, because it gives me a better mental challenge, but that doesn't mean I suck at checkers...let that sink in for a moment, or is "Personal Preference" still a foreign concept to you?

That logic just sounds terrible man lol. No matter how good you are you can only do so much with scrubs on your team in JRC this year. If you the play the game mode you'd know it's no easy task getting Wins with horrible players on your team.

Bums aren't looking to be carried either. They're on the court doing their own thing just as much as anybody else. They wanna be carried but constantly jack up bad shots, don't pass the ball to the open man, and don't play any defense? Yeah AIGHT lol.

How does one carry if one or two of my teammates repeatedly take terrible shots, don't play defense, flop around, and actually contributes something worse than nothing?

Take a terrible shot, give up 3 on the other end. The bummiest of bums will dig a deep hole and make sure you're firmly entrenched there.

This thread has gone a lot of places, but end of the day, the guy who habitually goes into JRC and sinks his team by being terrible (intentionally or not), is never fun to be around. that person either belongs playing in a different tier, or should really stop playing if all they do is go in and quit within the first quarter because they jacked up 2 threes that didn't go in and gave up 6 points on the other end within the first minute. Even worse is the guy who hangs around all game doing that.

I'm really not picky, but I have no patience for people who don't respect others time

Scrubs arent looking to be carried as they will do all the crap you describe.

Bums are looking to be carried as they will only play with who are in their eyes good players , yet will still cry when they end up losing.

Winning is hard when you play with whoever you get match up with.
Winning should not be hard if you cherry pick who you want to play with......

Scrubs on the other hand dont give a F or dont know any better.
They will frustrate you.

Best is to just do your thing and get that A+ grade.
At times you might actually get the W and it will feel great.

Sadly people abused it.

I feel like it is a fact, that no matter what matchmaking is used, there will always be someone complaining about someone else being a bum, with no regard to the actual skill level. I’ve watched streams of pros who compete at the highest levels of their respective games, and are viewed as some of the most elite players in the world, and they still get flamed by a random teammate as being trash

I contrast that info with the reality that I remember playing DOTA, back when it was just a custom map in WCIII, and there was no matchmaking. It was not a good time. Almost every game was a stomp, one way or another, quitting was rampant, and you just had to cross your fingers and hope your team was gonna be alright. Then DOTA 2 came along, and more specifically the ranked matchmaking came along. Stomps went from almost every game, to an occasional occurrence. Quitting still happens but so rarely that it surprises me when it does happen. Lastly, I watched a replay of a low tiered game and was shocked at how bad everyone was, because I hadn’t seen anyone in my games play like that in forever. Not knocking them, because it’s not a crime to be bad, but it’s an endorsement of how matchmaking completely segregated me from them.

So in summary, people will be lame and cry about you being trash, no matter how good you are, and proper matchmaking is an essential way of life for any competitive game

I think I remember that stupid voting system in COD. You could get voted out before the game ever started. If I got into a lobby with a bunch of players who had prestiged multiple times and had mics, I already knew that I was ready to be booted.

Ironically, I'm actually a solid player. I just never got into the whole prestige thing.

Point blank, 2K Sports just needs a better matchmaking system where similar players are matched together, squads are not able to prey on weaker teams, less skilled players have they own park, and they sure need to remove that stupid ability to view another player's card. The snobbery this year is at an all-time high. It's ****ing annoying.
