Re: More Classic teams you'd like to see in 2k20
I think the mid-late 2000's Wizards are almost a sure fire lock if we do get any new classic teams.
'07 Washington Wizards: No wizards classic teams at all in 2k, so what better time to add one than for this one? Arenas, Jamison, Butler, Haywood, and recently Deshawn Stevenson are ALL in the game in one form or another (Myteam or classic teams). Would be shocking to see this team get omitted.
Don't expect a 2002 or 2003 Jordan Wizards squad though, I'm fairly confident Jordan does not want his likeness associated with the Wizards, or he would've been included in the Wiz all time roster or had a Wizards myteam card by now.Comment

The 2019 Raptors have all the makings of a modern classic team. Only, I'm fond of classic teams having at least one same-year contemporary. I guess any Durant-era Warriors team would be close enough.Comment

Re: More Classic teams you'd like to see in 2k20
Decided we all could use an organized list to share with 2K. I wanted to make a one stop resource so that the developers can decide which teams would be easier to include. I have them organized by decade, 60s, 70s, 80s etc. And included a handy list of retired players that would help fill out multiple rosters. I am currently working on the 80s so this only goes up through the 70s. I will be adding your guys suggestions to the doc as well, and will keep tabs on this thread.
I am a hardcore basketball historian, I watch old school games, I do research and I edit classic teams. My dream is to help make classic teams/players as accurate as possible, would love to scout old game footage for 2K.
Here's the link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
Here is my current list of the easiest teams to complete (pre-80s):
1977 Knicks (78% of rotation minutes/players accounted for)
1976 Bullets (74%)
1978 Lakers (73%)
1976 Celtics (73%)
1979 Rockets (72%)
1972 Rockets (64%)
1960 Celtics (64%)
1979 Nuggets (63%)
1976 Suns (55%)
1967 Royals (55%)
1978 Bullets (54%)
1967 76ers (52%)
1972 Bulls (51%)
1972 Suns (51%)
1978 Jazz (51%)
As you can see we have some teams that are really close to being complete! It would be a shame if we couldn't get them into 2K20! Let's get Paul Silas to sign on! Share the link if you can, lets get the word out.Last edited by antdoggydogg; 06-19-2019, 03:16 AM.Comment

Would it be possible to get this thread pinned? Classic teams seem like one of the recurring topics every yearComment
