The Pistons right now are just garbage and tbh no point to even have them in the game without Prince and Sheed.Comment

Re: More Classic teams you'd like to see in 2k20
I can see how they’d be of little use for online gamers but there’s some legit enough CAPs for Rasheed and Tayshaun that offline guys just plug them in and enjoy. The bigger absence for me on that team is Mehmet Okur because I haven’t seen a super great created Memo out there.Comment

Re: More Classic teams you'd like to see in 2k20
Updated the doc using information from some early roster videos of 2K20. They've added a bunch of historic players that help fill out some older rosters. Here is an updated list, still working on it.
Current list of the easiest teams to complete (pre-90s):- 1983 Lakers (100%) (Norm Nixon added)
- 1978 Lakers (89%) (Norm Nixon added)
- 1980 Lakers (87%) (Norm Nixon added)
- 1989 Jazz (79%)
- 1989 Knicks (79%)
- 1977 Knicks (78%)
- 1976 Bullets (74%)
- 1976 Celtics (73%)
- 1979 Rockets (72%)
- 1985 Jazz (70%)
- 1981 Bucks (69%) (Brian Winters added)
- 1960 Celtics (64%)
- 1972 Rockets (64%)
- 1979 Nuggets (63%)
- 1965 Hawks (60%) (Cliff Hagan added)
- 1967 Royals (55%) (Freddie Lewis added)
- 1976 Suns (55%)
- 1978 Bullets (54%)
- 1979 SuperSonics (54%) (Gus Williams and Fred Brown added)
- 1983 76ers (54%)
- 1981 Celtics (53%)
- 1985 76ers (53%)
- 1967 76ers (52%)
- 1972 Bulls (51%)
- 1972 Suns (51%)
- 1978 Jazz (51%)
- 1983 Knicks (50%)

Re: More Classic teams you'd like to see in 2k20
PAUL SILAS IS IN THE GAME. THIS IS HUGE!!!
He's a reward in the MyTeam mode. He would help fill out so many classic teams now that they have the rights to use his likeness. 2k can we get access to him in classic rosters?
Updated the doc.
Current list of the easiest teams to complete (pre-90s):- 1983 Lakers (100%)
- 1978 Lakers (89%)
- 1976 Celtics (88%)
- 1980 Lakers (87%)
- 1974 Celtics (85%)
- 1973 Celtics (81%)
- 1989 Jazz (79%)
- 1989 Knicks (79%)
- 1977 Knicks (78%)
- 1976 Bullets (74%)
- 1979 Rockets (72%)
- 1985 Jazz (70%)
- 1981 Bucks (69%)
- 1972 Suns (68%)
- 1967 Hawks (66%)
- 1960 Celtics (64%)
- 1972 Rockets (64%)
- 1979 SuperSonics (64%)[/B]
- 1979 Nuggets (63%)

- 1972 Bulls (51%)
- 1978 Jazz (51%)
- 1983 Knicks (50%)
This means the 1974 and 1976 Title teams are pretty much complete and the legendary 1979 Sonics team is getting closer to a full squad.
Now we just need access to Paul Silas for roster makers to recreate these teams. I think it's time for 2K to expand the draft classes and add a 1974 class. Joe Caldwell, Mel Counts, Willis Reed, Paul Silas, John Thompson, Jim Davis (was previously in the game, not sure now) that's more names than some of the other historic classes. Bottom line is we now need access to some of these new additions.Last edited by antdoggydogg; 09-15-2019, 05:30 PM.Comment

Re: More Classic teams you'd like to see in 2k20
One thing that kinda bugs me about 2k is how they just leave some classic teams with created players, when they could just opt out and make that teams roster from another yr. I don't know if that sounds like sense reading it, but here's an example of what i'm trying to say. They went with the '13-'14 spurs, which we all wanted of course. However, because of license issues and things of that sort i'm assuming, they couldn't complete the roster. My thing is if it's an issue where they know for sure they won't get any of those players licensed in the future, why not opt to create another yr's roster? For example, I make a "classic teams" custom roster every yr on 2k where I attempt to create or complete classic teams in the game. So when I seen the '13-'14 Spurs where incomplete, I just made them into the '14-'15 Spurs instead. Just removed all of the created players and added Kyle Anderson and JaMychal Green. Gives you a nice 11 man roster with no created players pleaguing the bench. 2k could have easily just did that, instead of leaving them incomplete. I know they can't complete all the teams cuz of the license stuff, but easy fixes like that should be a given.Comment

Few more legends I found in MyTeam mode, some might've already been in:
Larry Kenon (available on All-Time Spurs)
Swen Nater
Rex Chapman
It's a real shame we don't have access to these players outside of MyTeam mode. At the very least they should be included in historic draft classes.Last edited by antdoggydogg; 09-23-2019, 07:40 PM.Comment

My thoughts on the 2014 San Antonio Spurs specifically is that they were probably operating under the assumption that Manu Ginobili would still be available for inclusion. Even without Manu, the 2014 team still has nine players included, which is pretty solid. I'd also assume they aimed for that 2014 team because they were NBA champions, historically avenging a bitter loss the season prior. The 2015 team, meanwhile, didn't escape the first round.
Of the new teams added, the only one that really befuddles me is the 2003 Suns. I mean, I welcome their inclusion, I'm just wondering what the angle was there when there were so many other options of a similar ilk that could have been more fully pieced together (say, the 2000 Suns). I suppose the need for a prime Stephon Marbury made it all worthwhile.Comment
