The sweat is completely unrealistic it looks like they have Crisco all over their face.

KD looks like he's an alien, everything we saw we know that's not in the game, the game will never look like that.

I would like to see a real camera real footage but that will probably come next week.

I already pre-ordered it still love 2K hopefully they tone down the VC crap.

People are saying oh they're probably going to eliminate VC well sorry if you look at the packages that you can buy the more you spend the more VC you get.

Hopefully, they don't cater to the silly neighborhood crap, we need to simulate basketball on the court, not people's personal lives.


If we can get back to 2K 14 level of gameplay and Innovation we'll be good.

Man that looks a lot better to me overall.. But I'm a bit worried the shots will still be a bit clunky looking.. The video was kinda choppy during all the shooting motions so it made it hard to tell, but that Jimmy Butler shot looked a bit off. 2K, IMO, has really missed the mark on fluid looking/feeling shooting forms on the last couple of games now.

Well there's a whole community working on fixing this very thing all the time, it's just that 2K doesn't really care about that lol. If they did, all they would have to do is use the community's work ...

This. No respect at all from 2K. Where was Siakim, Lowry, Ibaka? One of the more exciting players in the league!

Ah well. Doesn't bother me as much. **** em.

All that counts is that "We The North" and "We The Champions" BABY!!!

NBA 2K20 Gameplay Trailer

Things I seen in the trailer.
Good, bad, and questions.
:09 Kawhi looks really off. His shoulders aren’t broad enough and his face seems round or fat.
:13 and :44 Diving loose ball animations still slide. In 2k19 most of these would take you straight out of bounds. Let’s hope there’s a good medium found. Plus if you have control of the ball and are moving and sliding, isn’t it a travel?
:16 New (returning) off ball offensive moves. Welcome back!
:17 Behind the back into shamgod. More OP dribble moves? It also looks like you will still be moved on defense by the dribble moves regardless if you make any controller inputs.
:20 I hope this contest on the Kawhi layup is called a foul. The defender makes all kinds of contact.
:24 The Kylie carry move makes its return and this time in an NBA game. Again it looks like the defender will be moved because of the dribble move and not stick input.
:28 The trailing defender seems oblivious to what’s happening right in front of him as Zion dunks. And the defender that should have helped, instead turns to face the opposite end of the court.
:30-35 Contested shots/right stick hands up defense seems to still be delayed.
:38 AI defense is again very late to defend the dunk.
:41 The defender appears to still be moved out of the way to allow the animation to play out. And again slow to react to the dunk.
:48-49 Landing against the stanchion seems odd from that dunk angle. Will this and the KD in the bench (:51-52)be a problem taking you out of the play as in previous 2k’s?
:59 Will hook shots be a viable offensive option in 2k20?
1:03-1:05 Will blocks be better and more realistic this year?
1:07 I hope that dunks and layups that draw contact will actually get a whistle this year. At least some times.
1:09 Another very late shot contest. The defender doesn’t even react until the ball is released.
1:12 The defense is lost again. There are 3 defenders within the restricted area, 2 with their backs to the dunker and the other doesn’t even react until the ball is dunked. I also hope they fixed that only one person can contest a shot at a time. If you go up on 3 people you should have nearly a ZERO % chance to make the shot.
1:14 I’m pretty sure that this block should be a foul. AD sticks his off hand right into Greens chest to block the shot. That’s an NBA foul nearly 100% of the time.

I’m not saying there will be no legacy issues but man, why watch again if it makes you feel that negative. Didn’t seem constructive just a guy having a moan on a message board.

At this point we kind of know what we are getting until next gen. I have fun with the game but I’m an offline player. Nice to know people at 2k cafe with guys like the Czar.

It's that time of the year again. Not sure if it's like this with other sports games but when it comes to 2K these fans go deep when it comes to analyzing every bit of info released. Not judging anyone that is critical it just not my thing. I have other things to worry about and more enjoyable things to do than to deconstruct a trailer for a game.

But in regards to the trailer, it looked good but it's hard for me to really get hyped by these trailers anymore. I'm excited that it's that time of the year when info is trickling out, trailers are releasing, and the game is just around the corner but I feel like these highlight reels are kind of the same thing every year. Unless there is a huge graphical upgrade, like 2k14's trailer (I could not stop rewatching those trailers), or a noticeable gameplay improvement it's hard to get hyped just by seeing 2k highlights. Even old 2k trailers still look good.

Hopefully we'll get insight into gameplay soon. For me that's what's important and most interesting each year.

I’m not sure if you know this, but there’s a pause button, a rewind and fast forward feature, and even a feature to slow down the play speed. [emoji44]
I watched the video exactly 1 time before making my post using those options and all of those thing are easily noticeable if you watch the trailer.
So if you think that my comments were negative, that’s on you. I simply stated what was shown in the trailer, you’re welcome to refute any of my statements.
Instead, you complain about my post because you think that I’m complaining and then talk about being constructive. [emoji849]
Most of my post was me asking questions because we don’t really know, pointing out things that “appear” to be returning serious issues from 2k19 and previous years, and things that I hope are changed. ✌️

Offline players are living in a different world than most of the community, they don't get the gripes because they can just edit the hell out of their CPU bots until the gameplay is smooth (easy) enough for them.

Come on 2k vets you know when marketing says game-play they mean "sizzle" trailer. It is the same every year. Game-play will almost never mean what you want it to mean on Aug 1st.

Like they really going to release some 5v5 raw game-play for you guys to analyze to death this early? Y'all will have all the casuals running for the hills before anyone can even play the thing.

If you scour the earth for anything related to 2k news I'm fairly certain marketing is not targeting you with anything they put out. LOL.

Also just an FYI and you didn't hear this from me but I heard that marketing only wanted high level overviews so don't panic if you don't get a bunch of nuts and bolts info from marketing this year. We did all the same work we always do but I don't think you guys will hear about all the stuff we did that pertains to your audience.

I of course will stream and talk about some of my stuff as soon as all the game-play info is released.

Hope you all enjoy the game this year if you decide to pick it up.
