I was wondering where the defensive badge that dropped offensive badge tiers was located.

2K is playing with fire here imo. This could get very ugly once people online start getting better at the game and the HOF badges start popping up.
Thanks. So, here's the million dollar question. What's the purpose of defensive badges then?

Someone should ask Mike Wang if the offensive badges still stack on each other. If the offensive badges still stack, the defensive badges are going to be worthless. Logically speaking, I can't see two badges being effective against 3-8 badges at the same time.

And what's wrong with hopsteps lmao?
A lot of complaints and "fixes" for a game that's on rookie setting [emoji2959][emoji2959][emoji2959].

        I agree.

I knew a lot of people were complaining about Lockdowns and how they feel that no badge should nerf another badge and some feel like once they get to a certain point with their overall game, that the defenders impact shouldn't be that strong.

The main issue is if Badges stack. If someone gets a few badges activates at the same time plus get Dimer benefits, how are a couple defensive badges going to counter that. We still are not completely sure about Intimidator badge. I've seen just some say they only saw it activate around the rim. Since Defensive Stopper is gone, Intimidator has to be the main counter against all these shooting badges. Most of the other perimeter defensive badges are for either basically staying with the opponent or stealing the ball. Intimidator has to be strong enough to counter these badges. But people will complain if they go against a HOF Intimidator and start bricking shots.

I’m scared to death of what the gameplay update cycle is going to look like this year. They can push certain updates anytime so it’s not just the official patches we need to consider.

2K19 played like 4-5 different games due to all of the boosts/nerfs thrown into core gameplay due to a vocal online Park/Crew group of gamers. I had to rebuild slider sets at least once a month after updates installed.

Now we have major gameplay changes being suggested after less than 24 hours of public access to the Rookie difficulty demo. Let us play a stable product for a while and allow gamers to learn new habits before deciding on which complaints need to be taken seriously.

I’m not really as concerned with the exact changes Mike listed as I am about which community feedback is used to make these decisions.

The thing is I think some players not as familiar with the nuts and bolts of basketball watch a couple montages of a guy shooting over people and think that's how every possession goes for 48 minutes; I call this the "ESPN Top Plays" mindset.

To me it often feels like the social media guys just want to pop off highlight after highlight without having to put in any "work" to set situations up....essentially they are asking for "Press X to Highlight Reel".

IMO...While your player might be at Steph Curry level, if you are facing a LDD of a similar talent level then in effect you are being guarded by someone on the level of Tony Allen or Scottie Pippen...and I would be willing to bet that even Steph himself would tell you that he isn't just turning and shooting over either of those guys like it's no big deal.

It's almost like people bought into their own MyPlayer mode hype to the point where they become unable to handle the harsh realities of actual competition.

Maybe, maybe not, but I also thought that I would NEVER see the day where people bitch and complain about a demo to the point that they make changes before the game releases.

As a competitor, I suddenly feel like NBA 2K had some of the biggest wussies that I have ever seen.

Guard builds are nice this year . You can get close to the Curry , Dame , Hardens, Beal , Westbrook, Gary Payton , Nash.

Bigs are pretty much Dwight , Dirk , Ibaka type traditional bigs.

There are more offensive badges than ever before and now they decide to remove a counter to them?

                      This is absurd

Eh, Cycling through Maziques 2k videos this morning, I'm not mad at a bit of a stamina boost.

I'm all for using turbo with caution but seeing Coby White walk up court, do about two minor moves and be flashing red on All Star kind of worried me.

@Beluba: @hawaiianrednecc No. The team will get the boost of the highest badge level available among the players. They don't stack.

This tweet was more about if everyone had the floor general badge.

@Beluba: @SuspendedKhalid Assuming you’re trying to dunk with the ProStick. You want to hold it diagonally up right or left (2 or 10 o’clock) not left or right. If you’re below 3 or 9 o’clock you’ll get hop step gathers.

Didn't realize that the shot stick was that sensitive.
