I want some old teams. Would love it if there were a few ABA teams. Gimme a few merger-era teams.

They should bring back the option to play without a 3 point line too

I agree, its ridiculous they have some of the old classic teams before the 3pt line was introduced, yet there is no option to turn off the 3pter, especially considering they use to have the option to turn it off.



Im hoping the new legendary teams are Reggie's Pacers, and Barkley's Suns. Im sure thats just wishful thinking, for whatever reason Reggie and Charles refuse to allow 2k to use their likeness.



I hope the classic teams have more real players than what some of them had last yr. I also wish they would allow you to edit the fake players appearance instead instead of having to create a whole new player. It makes no sense why they dont allow us to fully edit the fake players on the classic teams. It would make fixing the classic teams so much easier if they allowed us to fully edit the fake players.



Personally I would love to see some ABA teams added to the classic teams. I would love to play with the old ABA Pacers. They really should give some respect for the ABA, because the ABA influenced what the NBA later became. Who knows when or if the 3pt line would have been put in the league if it wasnt for the ABA. Granted IM not a fan of what has happened over the past few yrs in the NBA with everyone jacking up 3's at a ridiculously high rate, but the 3pt line definitely was a positive impact on the league, so it would be nice to see NBA2k showcase atelast a few of the top ABA teams, since that league helped the NBA become what it is today.

The 06 “you know if you miss both of these Free throws we’re going to win and you know whose going to hit the game winner” led Gilbert Arenas Wizard squad.

When 2K came through with the new batch of classics a couple years ago it totally seemed like they were trying to grab one for each NBA team. It's early in the morning so I could be wrong but I thought the Clippers and Wizards were the only two teams left out. It'd be nice to see them each get a squad.

Lob City's now decimated enough to make a classic foray sort of nostalgic for the younger generation (not to mention to be able to us a younger, more explosive Blake). It'd also be cool to see the 2002 Clippers (Darius Miles, Quentin Richardson) but they weren't good, so there's that. Also, if not the 2006 Wizards, the 1997 Bullets would be legit (Webber, Howard, Muresan, Ben Wallace).

More so then the addition of classic teams I really want them to bring back classic team filters and decade specific rules, this would bring me back to caring about the classic team part of the game.

Besides half the team being asked for here can be recreated. Seems like a waste of slot to me.

There's a few, but 2010 Lakers (id be cool with 08 or 09 Lakers too) and 2014 Spurs is tops for me. Then Lob City Clippers a close third. And on a side note, plz get Tim Duncans 2k14-2k18 player model back in the game. The one in 2k19 just doesnt look like the older him.

And hopefully all the previous teams are staying and they are only adding more.......

Same goes for players. Love the legendary teams but when key players are missing or half the roster is generic players it almost defeats the purpose. It would be nice to not only get new teams without losing teams but to also have some key missing players added.

Interesting that they're going out of their way to make this announcement. Hopefully, they added more players to the existing teams, and my obvious picks would be....

13-14 Pacers - PLEASE add more players to the roster.
05-06 Pacers - Avoids the Miller situation and can use Peja instead of Artest.
04-05 Pacers - The Brawl team that should have made the NBA Finals.
99-00 Pacers - The NBA Finals team.

I also miss having a mode dedicated to the legendary teams. I'd love to see a mode like 2k12's "NBA Greatest" or even something similar to NFL 2k5's ESPN 25th anniversary mode. I'm always a sucker for replaying classic moments with game specific goals.

YES.

At this point I'd even just take "Trophies" that could be earned by completing certain accomplishments with each team. I wouldn't even care if there was a reward beyond a literal small trophy in your MyPlayer gym or a jersey of the player you achieved the goal with or a bobblehead or whatever. It's nice just to have a reason when you're playing.

Some examples:

-2004 Pistons: Hold opponent under 70 points (10 min. quarters or more)

-2001 Lakers: Score at least 30 points with both Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant in a single game

-1996 Sonics: Complete 3 Payton-to-Kemp alley-oops in a single half

Or you could mimic real life statlines from prominent players on those teams:

-1993 Michael Jordan: Score 55 points on better than 55 percent shooting

-2005 Steve Nash: Register 15 points and 15 assists in same game

Literally anything to give folks a reason to chase and use each team. It'd be nice for current teams, too. All I know is those little achievements kept me cranking out NFL 2K games with all sorts of random teams for a long time and I loved it.

So I was under the impression that this would consist of new classic teams. But apparently from what I’ve seen is that these “legendary” will be something different than the regular classic teams that we’re used to.

Edit: But they are still adding more classic teams as well. So we’re getting new classic and legendary teams this year.

You know... I was wondering about that when they called them "Legendary" teams, a term they typically didn't use when referencing classic teams.

Might you have a source for this information?
