Re: NBA 2K20 MyCAREER Trailer and Behind the Scenes Video with SpringHill Entertainme
So because NBA players have money they can’t tackle social issues?
I guess we should ignore that school LeBron’s foundation built to provide free education through high school to kids from his home town, incidentally highlighting the lack of affordable quality education in the US?
Nah, **** him. He’s a millionaire.
Funnily enough Che Guevara grew up in a much more comfortable home life than most NBA players would have, and it was only through his family connections he was able to work his way through political circles in Latin America and eventually Cuba.
its just sad that social issues are now just a marketing angle to exploit for profit.
it used to be that social issues were highly unprofitable and that people would have to actually sacrifice things to make changes they believe in.
its just a sad state of society that this is the story in 2k before we can actually control our players' destinies.Comment

I am 0% a MyCareer person..... but I have to say, that was a fantastic trailer. Star power all over it and very well put together (minimal cheese).
I might even dabble this year - but good for you MyCareer fans. I'm sure there'll be an enjoyable experience in there this year for y'all.Comment

......or what if the character is named Che, because that's his name and there's no deeper meaning behind it? LBJ had a teammate at SVSM they called 'Che'. Goodness, lol
MyCareer has certainly come a long way.
I remember being bored with splash screens after big games saying "you did good!" and asking for more but I never thought it would get to this level.Comment

I'm sorry...why would people NOT assume? That's like watching a movie trailer for Batman and seeing scenes from Gotham City, but the directors come out and tell you that movie is NOT in Gotham City. What?

I wonder what happens when the story ends? I don’t mind the cinematic stories, I just wish they would have a secondary mode that allows you to write your own path. I miss the good old high school, to college to pro method of 16. I just wanted them to expand on that. Play more high school games and be given a wider selection of colleges based on your high school career. Maybe give the option of going to big named program or selecting a small program and building it up. Something a little more organic than a linear story. But I am not going to say I’m not excited about this though. I just hate when story modes end and there is nothing tying your story experience to your career afterwards.JusKolMeAl - Hip Hop Artist/producer**YouTube, Itunes, Spotify, Youtube Music**
