I made a comment on the mycareer thread but it doesn't seem anyone has noticed it. Does anyone know how the game decides who gets what icon during those games. I have two examples Trent Jr and Elie Okobo These are from two different save files both on the suns but the game randomly gives them these icons even though they are either 78 overall or just 80 but when i'm 87 or 89 and put up all-star player numbers every game and don't get it it gets kinda weird. I know what the in game information says here about the star icon but there doesn't seem to be any consistency between what that says and what other CPU players get.
I know for the Dunk and 3pt icons you need a high attribute rating for those two like 85 or over for you to get those icons but I'm just wondering if it's something i'm missing when it comes to how you get the star in NBA2k19?
Is it Attribute rating specific? Overall Specific? Or Team Specific? Or a combination of all of them? Or is it just random? On this save i'm going to the all-star game for the second year(game claims it's my first time but that's 2k fault for not adding in scripts if we get back in there additional years) and you'd think i'd get it the first time but idk if going there a second time is going to change anything.
