Re: NBA 2K20 Gameplay Video - Clippers vs. Lakers (30 Minutes of Footage)
A lot of us are really over the aesthetics since we know we are at the end of the gen, there is not much more they can do other than bells and whistles to fool a few folks. Its improved GAMEPLAY that gives us hope for the future iterations...Comment

Re: NBA 2K20 Gameplay Video - Clippers vs. Lakers (30 Minutes of Footage)
Like what i see. Its a step forward. Of course its not perfect but the game has made huge strides in the last 3 years. In my opinion the pace of the game is realistic. People are used to video game styled change of direction at will. We have to adjust. Yes basketball at its highest level is a very fast game but it is also played very controlled.
I will say that whenever passing is overhauled people gonna be madddddddd. Some passes you can make in 2K just arent physically possible despite having the god's eye view. maybe by 2k23 lol.
Transition d is improved but i still feel as if the first man back to the paint should turn and face the ballhandler a couple of steps sooner. You are pretty much already on top of them if you push the pace on offense.Comment

Re: NBA 2K20 Gameplay Video - Clippers vs. Lakers (30 Minutes of Footage)
It's funny that the feedback about the demo have caused them to buff stamina and movement speeds according to Mike Wang. Just from watching this video I actually they think could've made stamina and movement have even MORE of a penalty for spammers. Both players in the video are clearly running up and down and using turbo as much as possible.
But anyway, I wish fans would remember that this clip and the demo are set on lower difficulty settings and we should hold our judgement till we get the real game. Right now they've already changed things before the game has even come out.Comment

Re: NBA 2K20 Gameplay Video - Clippers vs. Lakers (30 Minutes of Footage)
2k still stuck in the Shaq era...a little bit of shake is fine but 2k going for that overboard stuff just looks out of place.

Rim hangers.....just a little shake..

Man, you guys had me expecting some NBA Live 2002 stuff with the backboard shake talk. Didn't look too shabby from what I saw (the Kawhi dunk at the start).

Re: NBA 2K20 Gameplay Video - Clippers vs. Lakers (30 Minutes of Footage)
I've starting noticing over the last few years that there is a lot of janky-as-hell looking dunk animations. Perhaps it's because the animation quality has steadily improved in other areas so the contrast has become more apparent but some dunks just look bad. Arms flailing way too quickly, oddly floating through the air, acceleration happening too quickly or slowly. Just looking unnatural in general.Comment

Re: NBA 2K20 Gameplay Video - Clippers vs. Lakers (30 Minutes of Footage)
Sorry, I should have added those. I was speaking more in general as I didn't see any in this video but in some of the other videos I've watched today. Some of the 1-handed tomahawks where they **** it back really far (the worst ones are old animations that seems like they've been in for years) and a dunk that Zion did in one of the videos where he gathers the ball with one hand are the worst offenders. I'll try and get some specific timestamps later today.Comment

Re: NBA 2K20 Broadcast on Facebook Gaming Currently
Court lighting and reflections immediately jump out at me. Best it's looked on this gen IMO.
Still HATING the shaking backboard on hang dunks. That backboard stand is way too strong for that rubber shakey backboard effect. Needs to be a rim breakaway on hang dunks with very minimal backboard shake. Seems a small detail, but ruins dunks for me personally. Jordan Rec Centre dunks look much better because of this....
