Let's talk about spamming (dribbles, blocks, steals,)

I haven't played the demo but has any of the big three (dribble, steals, blocks) spamming issues been addressed?

Stamina plays big part for dribbling this year. Unfortunately Twitter complaints prompted Mike to adjust the stamina....

      Yes you read right....

        Yes, yes and yes.

Dribbling was much better, however, according to tweets from Mike Wang, he's already caving to those on twitter crying about stamina.

Blocks feel better, not perfect but you'll notice a significant difference from 19. The AI makes this more apparent by deciding quicker to attack you when you jump. Naturally, there's a badge called Pogo Stick that reduces the penalty for spam jumping lol.

Steals Idk yet as much as the others, but bump steals are way down, they still exist but in more appropriate situations. I was concerned about guys just waiting to spam it as soon as they see that indicator, but I've tried to and sometimes going for the steal will take you out of position enough that the AI gets by me. Have to see what the professional cheesers do with this though.

All in all, yes they've all been improved. However if it's enough to make it a completely unreliable tactic remains to be seen until you go up against xXeAtBoOtYDaGODxX.

I hope he doesn't cave to those Twitter guys. I play a lot of Pro-Am/rec and if guys can just spam dribbles all day we will see all the teams play the same offense every year which is annoying.

Well he's adjusting the demo so I'm really not liking the prospects for the final build.

I'm speechless mostly....I mean what can you say? This is Twitter's game now.

Too late...he's already caved. Normally, I usually get to enjoy the game for about 2-3 weeks according to how the developers INTENDED the game to be until the crying and complaints start on Twitter.

Now...we won't even have the chance, because there's going to be release day patch to "address" the issue. I should buy the physical copy just so I don't have to download the patch.

No Mike No! We (pro-am players) don't want to play in games where everyone just watch the PG do all the work by spamming dribble moves all game without being penalized while everyone watches it all game. This is Pro-Am in a nutshell for you. We need changes.

When Mike tweeted, "you will be able to catch bodies once you equip some signature dribble animations," I was like okay, I see where we are now. I see where this has gone to. It's sad but the consumer wins and unfortunately for NBA 2ks sake, the value of the black dollar is extremely high
