Nintendo switch ver. of NBA 2k20 is unacceptable it still have issues like not having free flowing jerseys/shorts, sweat animations that just looks like shiny dirt spots, weird glitchy spots on players when they are moving and facial and bodies of the players get all deformed as they get distant on the screen I been patiently waiting on these issues to be resolved but they are not I have been buying NBA 2k on Nintendo switch since they have started supporting the system but I might have to skip it this year because there's hardly to any progression..ps3/xbox 360 and 2k moblie have free flowing jerseys/shorts free of any bugs when moving even the sweat looks ok why can't this be achieved on Nintendo switch it's not like its 60 frames per second.....Disappointing

Ya, there were multiple reports of users not being able to connect online via Switch on demo release day, so they couldn't create their builds. Supposedly, those issues have now been resolved.

Now that's believable. First day releases just be a nightmare for companies

It doesn’t seem the Switch can handle the quality level you describe. The power of the Switch is somewhere between the Xbox 360/PS 3 and the current gen consoles. What you describe requires more power.

I play the game on the Switch all the time. It is not anywhere near the quality of the XB1/PS4. However it is awesome quality to be able to play on the go.

Now, I am hoping that next year that either Nintendo releases a substantial upgrade to the Switch with more power, or that Sony or Microsoft release a handheld console.

Supposed to be as powerful as the vanilla xbox1

Exactly, original xbox one holds up pretty well also, but still if it's not possible for Nintendo Switch to achieve why not create effects, graphics and animations that it can achieve.

wouldnt this have more to do with the developer of the game more than nintendo? and how much effort they want to put into the game?

after the past years of devs ignoring nintendo, im happy for most of the games and attention the switch gets. if only activision and etc would drop a cod on the switch..... or if EA would drop madden....

2k on the switch can be better, but im just glad its an option. if they (and for this one i will blame nintendo) would add some type of communication or voice chat even a text one to the game or make it where we can add friends, that'll be amazing.

the fact the switch is missing basic online features for games is truly madness

I'm not a fan of joycons and I have switch lite preordered. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it and playing 2k on my downtime at work. I have no issues with the ported graphics. I like that they are able to keep it at 60fps.

I'm really impressed that the switch can play witcher 3. I don't know why EA refuses to port madden or Live over if a big open world can be ported to an hand held.

Docked, can you use the gamecube controller with the switch?

Yeah I got the Legend edition preordered for the switch and might get it for my X later down the line when it go on sale. I feel by the demo it seems a lot more polished. Will be doing a custom roster again.
