I always start in the off-season. I like to manipulate the CPU signings. I am going to play as my team the Nets: retain D’Angelo Russell and bring in Julius Randle. Evaluate Free Agent talent and work accordingly.

Dallas: have Kemba sign with the Mavericks, I think it would be exciting to see him team-up with Luka & Porzingis.

Clippers: Rondo signs and reunites with Doc Rivers.

Kings: plot twist- trade Fox and Bagley for Russell Westbrook. Kawhi decides to sign with Sacramento instead. Westbrook, Hield, Kawhi would be the base starting line-up.

Depending on the draft, if we can manipulate the lottery, i’d have Zion go to the Knicks.

I love team building and creating my own storylines, so this will be a fun year.

Running with my Knicks. Gonna try to get RJ the ROTY and move a lot of the vets to build around RJ, Knox, and Meech

Gonna do a fantasy draft like I always do but instead of drafting to win I'm going to be drafting my favorite players. I don't know which team I will run with but regardless I'm designing my own uniforms and arena, did that last year with the Nuggets and was pretty happy with what I came out with.

One thing different I am going to do this year is I'm going to simulate all regular season games and watch all of the playoff games and I am doing the traditional 82 game and 7-7-7-7 format for the playoffs.

2. Fantasy draft with legends added
3. Legends added to their most notable teams

I'll probably use a couple all time players but adjust their ratings. I just can't stand the inflated ratings on the all time teams

Last year I made a 98-99 Roster that I really had a lot of fun with, this year I'm going even further back. 1969-70 ABA/NBA combo roster, 50 draft classes. Cannot wait.

I always like to run two different MyGM’s with a team from each conference.

Gonna run with the new look Lakers cuz they are my favorite team (cuz of LeBron). Hopefully try bring home a championship in the first year.

For my eastern conference team I’m going with Bulls. I think they have a great young core of players and are just a piece or two away from becoming a playoff team. Depending on how much time I focus on them in this mode I’m hopeful i can make that happen.

My plan is to do two: take the Knicks to glory, and create a franchise and take that to glory as well. Although, I may just do one. I really want to sink my teeth into a franchise.

Rebuilding the Hornets, getting through/rid of the bad contracts and securing draft picks and hopefully at least one good FA and start building.

I might be crazy, but as a Suns fan, I can't help but think they are one trade away from being a playoff team. Trade their first round pick and bet on someone like, idk, Gordon Hayward to be that missing piece. If he can regain 85% of his former prime, I think the Suns can make a run at it.


Trade Oubre/1st (and filler if need be) for Hayward who wants a new start. With Book and Ayton taking another step forward and Rubio facilitating, I'll run that team into the playoffs for sure.

I am thinking about starting with Spurs or Pacers, maybe TWolves and trading for Chris Paul. I like picking good teams that are not great and turning them into championship teams by not changing to much of their core

I always go with my favorite team, which is the Pacers, and I only play MyLeague, Ive yet to try the MyGM out, as I prefer having control over all 30 teams, as I like to keep everything realistic as possible for that 1st season anyway, as I will follow everything that happens IRL.


I do think this yr, Im going to go with 1 realistic Association, and then 1 where I will still be the Pacers, but just let it play out without being concerned about everything being realistic. I use to do this yrs ago, but got too OCD about keeping things realistic, but Im determine to break myself from that


All this hinges on no game breaking issues, that ruin gameplay or the Association. The last couples yrs of basically no shooting fouls on 3pt attempts, ruined the game, and I just lose interest quickly. Last yr was horrible, the lack of fouls on 3pt attempts, and the lack of charging fouls being called, was just too game breaking for me. I barely played 19 at all.



Im counting on 20 being the best game overall that they have made on this gen, with the new consoles set to come out next yr, so that is the only reason why Im going to buy 20, as usually the last yr before a new console comes out, the game tends to be good. Or thats what Im hopping anyway.
