I was watching Fiba and Matthew Dellavedova, being him as a pesty defender, played 2K19 extend pressure kind of defence against Kemba Walker. On one drive I thought Kemba triggered the Takeover mode by extending his elbow pushing Della away before scoring the bucket.

So an animation that works on a single defender (ie a second defender can still come over and contest) and is still worth two is gone, but the sharp shooter on fire, which lets guys hit from half court for three, is still in.

lol can imagine the uproar it would cause if they took out guaranteed 3s or even toned them down?

That literally might jeopardize their stock price.

The demo is the new 'it's an old build' excuse lol. That animation is in there because the arcade nation loves OP stuff. Take it away and they will riot on tiwtter and get it patched or addressed.

It is an "old build" though. Probably was finalized in mid-July.



Mike Wang himself has said multiple times that there are things in the demo that aren't in the full game. He even said that before the demo even released.

Sorry for the bump. I seriously think some form of takeover mode is needed to show off the dominance, like this (99 dunk in traffic)

But in all seriousness guys, I play heavily in the post in PNO with Embiid (so i'm not speaking on Pro-Am, ect...i'm not qualified) and Single Outcomes are bad in any PVP environment. Keep in mind that means automatic makes or anything that will occur 100% of the time. It just hurts balance too much. Imagine a Handles Takeover that would make you fall everytime, or a Dimer takeover where the pass would always get through...it just doesn't work.

I'm confident Post Takeovers will still be good...but beating a guy 100% of the time can't be a thing lol.

As long as post game can be viable offensive game, I will be happy. I hope you can have guys like Shaq/Hakeem just straight merc smaller players, 2k19 it is just ridiculous that the PGs can defend against PF/C.
