whats the best settings to farm VC in mycareer? short games, low difficulty and roll in endorsements?

can't remember how i went about it last year
I assume longest quarters on HOF will get you the most VC?

I mean, remember 2k19, the most VC you get is "teammate grade" and "salary", your actual stats don't give you that much VC

people played 10-12 minutes quarters because the teammate grade was hard as **** to get to A+

this year will easily be the same, so it's not that longest quarters give you most VC, they give you the chance to get a high teammate grade and thus more VC, but if you can get A+ or A in 6-7 minutes quarters, you could get more VC than a guy playing 10 minutes

It takes what, $50 to go up to 85 with VC or spend nothing and go the long route. So if the choice is either spend a month or so grinding away or pay the equivalent of one full days work even at a crappy minimum wage salary, economically that is a no-brainer. Unless you really don't value your time.

I know they said that they will be focusing on performance in MyCareer rather than Teammate grade. Because in past it really didnt matter if you had good games.

But I hope that doesn't mean the people who average 100+ points a game, level up within a week or 2

Games pay to win, either you play the game mode to the extreme without vc or you pay to get their quicker, there's no way to get around the pay to win stigma in this game as long as you can pay for your attribute upgrades.

Same here but only because I’m just getting into 2K19 after finding out that I actually enjoy “be the player” game modes. Never knew it before but since I like RPGs it makes sense. lol

Honestly, I’m not sure when I’ll actually get 2K20. Since I’m on PC I’ll be able to catch it for a DEEP sale at some point.

I'm not really waiting for the sale. My GF wanted to buy it for me. But I rather wait. By Black Friday, the season is already a month in. In sports games, I rather wait until season has already started before I truly commit to a game mode. I want my roster to closely reflect the real life during the season. If there is a key signing or trade around first month of season, I want that in my season. Or if there is a player comes out blazing roster, I want him to perform like that in my game mode. I hate to start a game mode before real season starts and there is a big trade ir roster move that would really affect your game mode. Like in Madden, I rather have Andrew Luck retired.
So I will wait. Plus I rather wait until we get a patch or two before I get started

Max VC for a endorsement event is now 10k, I'm taking that over incentives/ %off at stores.

I agree. I like seeing realistic stats that reflect the rest of league. I may only get 1 full season a year, but I rather have a realistic career than to play quick games.

I do believe there should be more of a bonus for playing a 12 minute HOF game. I just don't feel satisfied getting 20+ pts in a 5 min quarter game. I rather getting a bigger bonus for a efficient game in a full quarter game
