Fullcourt double when the user activates the "On Catch" defensive setting on a player is still in, so this apparently isn't the patch that OG said would fix that to only activate in the halfcourt. Must be coming later.

I don't have much time to actually play this afternoon so I'll probably just let some CPU games run and see if I notice any of the fullcourt doubles from the AI (they showed up there too sometimes pre-patch).

I still experience stuttering on PS4 Pro (

At first it seemed fixed but started stuttering again at end of quarter and whenever it got crowded under the basket. So disappointing. I hope this will be fixed for good soon..

Yeah I'm going to say it's not there yet as well. Still getting lots of doubles after a quick hot start, and still getting doubled a ton in the paint without even having scored yet.

That's too bad. Makes the game tough to play to be honest. I've tried other camera angles and zooming outbas far as I can and it helps a bit but I don't want to have to worry about it at all. Hopefully if and when the issue is resolved it doesn't hurt the overall visuals because the game is arguably the best 2kbhas ever looked.

Well according to OG its not a bug that needs patching its something and he said a few days things would change, so I guess it wouldnt be apart of this patch anyway

Agree, that's my worry as well. Game looks amazing, would hate for the graphics to be downgraded to fix this. I am currently playing and I feel it is better after the patch but I, for one, am still noticing the frame rate dropping when it gets crowded.

Right. That's why I immediately went looking for the fullcourt "on catch" setting when the new patch came in - because if that user deal was already changed, then it's likely they would have taken care of the AI's doubling issues before it. In other words, it probably would have been in the in-game update this morning.

That's not the case though - the user setting still works the same, so I can't assume anything about whether the AI's been touched yet.

Are you seeing they double in the paint when you are posting up with a stronger post player ?

Correct, but it's instantaneous and right away without having even scored. Or if there's any sort of even remote mismatch.

Just watched a sequence where Chris Paul (6 points currently) got doubled on the perimeter and turned the ball over, then the next trip down he got picked up at the halfcourt like normal. This is the kind of situation where the fullcourt doubles would start on the next possession, and not stop for quite a while.

Still early, but that was a good thing to see. I am aware the patch didn't change this, but the update this morning still could have.

One full, 12 minute per quarter game, no backcourt doubles from the CPU (while it's controlling both teams). Good sign.

It still doubled in the frontcourt occasionally, but in situations where it made sense. It went after Rozier (20 points) in the 4th the same way it did Paul earlier, but didn't try to extend pressure on the next possession. I can see the "threat detection" stuff that OG was talking about much better now - Rozier was drawing A LOT of attention by the end of the game, but it didn't include backcourt doubling.

That's all I've got time for unfortunately, hopefully I'll have a chance to play some games later tonight. Feeling pretty good about what I saw in that game.

Yeah that is what I am seeing as well the double is contextual, if a player is hot and the focus of the offensive or if there is a clear mismatch in the paint the CPU will double.

Correct, and again, some are having better success than me with it so far in terms of improvement. I may just be more against how often they double in general than others.
