Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
Not talking to you man just people that infect every thread about online gaming and stuff that has nothing to do with DaCzar
If there was ever a sim nation thread third should be it.
We're greatest for the man and what he does. The comment he made about blocking people with usernames that end in 07657765775 must've definitely been a factor.

I don't have a problem with 2k staff ignoring the twittersphere. Should have happened sooner imo.Comment

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
Gamers want these in-depth analysis from the devs to explain every single thing that happens with the game. I see the same BS comments on the NBA Live forum. Where is it written that gamers are entitled to every single piece of information regarding the development of a video game? Sometimes, it's not a gamer's damn business to know what's happening all the time.Comment

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
2k has created this problem themselves. They’ve leaned on the YouTube/Twitter clowns to market their game and consequently can get burned by them, which happened this week. And it will continue to happen. Instead of controlling messaging and coherently marketing the game through one or two verified sources, they’ve left it to social media. They’re screwed and they know it.

To go with the above about Clint, Madden has fallen into this trap as well as 2K. I really hope they weren't driven off because of people who don't want to learn actual basketball or football in Clint's case. It seems as if relying on Twitter and famous YouTubers has finally caught up to them. Hopefully Czar is still with 2K.Comment

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
I'm sorry, but Czar and Mike have always been good about answering questions. Do they the answer 100% of questions? No, they don't. However, I'm not going to let you tell that lie like they don't absolutely answer no questions at all. They just don't answer the questions that you want an answers to nor give you the in-depth information that you're looking for. There was a time when Mike Wang used to come on this website and answers questions. Man, it was always a treat when he came into a random thread to answer questions for us, and then the community would low-key try to keep it a secret that he's making a guest appearance.
That's the thing that bugs me about Twitter gamers in general. Gamers want these in-depth analysis from the devs to explain every single thing that happens with the game. I see the same BS comments on the NBA Live forum. Where is it written that gamers are entitled to every single piece of information regarding the development of a video game? Sometimes, it's not a gamer's damn business to know what's happening all the time. Would it make you happy if they told you that the company was too cheap to buy a new servers?
Hell...you can see how Twitter toxicity wears down on Ronnie at times.
I, like many, don't know who to tweet at, so many just hassle those they know are involved in the game.
Does Daczar do a great job and go above his call? Always has.
Is he responsible for the changes I mentioned above? Probably not.
Is Mike Wang responsible for the changes? Maybe.
Should someone at 2K say something? Yes, but who...PSN: KarlMarx24Comment

Man, this is crazy for this to happen to two devs at two different companies.

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
I would just remind peeps to keep the speculation for why he deleted his Twitter within the realm of reason and be smart about it. If he wanted a break from the negativity, that's understandable. I wouldn't say things like "he was mad at his own company for making changes" as it's not fair to speculate on something of that nature for an employee of a company.
Regardless, of course we have nothing but love for Czar here.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join.Comment

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
Like I said in other threads, if those #ArcadeNation suckas were tweeting at him non-stop about NONSENSE, I could see why he got sick of it. But if he were going to quit, I would have rather it been because a rift in the #SimNation community vs. an outsider taking our leader out.
It ain't right man.

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
I see some flaming going on in this post. This post was not a free-for-all to tell all the issues with 2K, how they are terrible, etc.
This thread is in support of DaCzar.
Reason? He has given more to the community because he loves the game (AKA because he just feels like it, not obligated to).
He gets a raw deal by being on the 2k staff. When a problem happens, who do you think people are tagging? Him. I've even done it myself with all the issues with MyLeague Online last year, not understanding the true dynamics of what Czar works on and what he doesn't work on. For example, he has NOTHING to do with servers, which was the main issue last year in MLO.
I think the thread has run its course. Those who spoke out that really know Czar have chimed in. They stated that he just probably needed a break, which I completely respect and I'm thankful that this is the case.
I'll continue to be on the lookout for more nuggets from Czar in his live feeds about the game.Comment
