I mentioned this in another thread after a poster provided an answer. There is no indication of how to use your custom roster in a Myleague. There is a screen where you press Y/triangle but nothing that tells you to do it.

It's counter intuitive as other screens prompt you to click the L stick to use a custom roster.

I think its time 2K moved to hand created fictional drafts. Madden did it first went to CFM. I still remember one guy nicknamed "Sweet BBQ". It was cool and fun. I just dont think you can have accurate playing and looking players when they are randomly generated. 2K needs to create 80 hand crafted classes and let us select a number and go from there. I know it will never be as good as Sim World or JBs classes, but at least it would be better. Plus, they could tune the players potentials and styles to match the league and not throw off the balance of the teams in ML.

This is only specific to certain players, but I think it definitely is appropriate to post here. The all-time Blake Griffin had a 99 contact dunk rating in 2k19 and a HoF posterizer badge, in 2k20 he (and every other version of Blake) does not have a contact finisher badge.

This applies to a bunch of others who had high contact dunk ratings and gold or HoF posterizer badges (Shawn Kemp, Jason Richardson, etc.)

I understand they wanted to make the badge also apply to layups, but how does Kyrie Irving have HoF contact finisher and Blake Griffin doesn't have any level of the badge? Am I missing something?

The fact that it isn't just Blake but others like the two I mentioned above makes me think that something was lost in moving from the old badge system to the new. Either way I think it's something that should be fixed.

I've been contact with a few 2k members about this same subject. On one hand, we don't really know if Badges do besides the writing. 12-13' Z-Bo is missing a ton of stuff from rebounding. But he has a high rebounding rating. But no Box Worm and others... Literally no rebound badges at all. That's good whole game.

I mean... It's not unrealistic the way they do it. I put the Supersonics in as well as a Kansas City expansion team in my MyLeague. They put those two in the same conference, then moved the Pelicans to the east (since they are the easternmost team in the west even after adding Kansas City).

I'm pretty sure that's probably what they would do IRL if they decided to add two west coast teams. Maybe IRL, they would just put Kansas City in the East instead of moving the Pelicans, but this way still makes sense. It especially makes sense I'm putting like a Seattle team and a Vegas team in.

Not sure what team they move from west to east if you add two east coast teams though. Probably Milwaukee.

It kills me when Patrick Ewing, Drew Gooden, Kyle Korver, Capella, WCStein, Dwight Howard (you get the picture) none ball handlers bring the ball up the court and initiates the offense.

Some of the play types are bizarre.

Sabonis is regarded as a coming off screens 3 point shooter.

As mentioned before, being able to see teammates and opposing players release timings and etc is one of the biggest “Were they drunk moments”. I honestly am still in shock this is a thing and you cannot turn it completely off. Just ruins so much suspense on shot attempts for me.

Also mentioned was the playcalling. I do not know if it had issues last year but I had zero issues with it. Love being able to hit quick play and we’ll run a play but I cannot seem to find that option now.

Changing the on the fly substitution menu to the abomination it is now. Remember before when you could open up a menu in the bottom of the screen and scroll through your list of players (was it with the R analog stick?) and sub multiple players at once and...it just worked? You could even see their stamina numbers as well. The implementation it changed to the last 3-4 years now is glitchy and obtuse.

Yup!! I don't see why they play calling was changed. Just calling a manual pick and roll has to be a extra button press. Or like you said. Give us the option to learn the new one or keep the other one. You let users keep all the button jumpers. But you'll change a core part of the game.

The offensive settings screen is great.

Being told what rebound and tempo do in those screens is great.

Not being able to change them from these screens is not great.

I'd love to be able to save my online setting for each team to play online. So I don't have to keep waiting 2 minutes before every game. Setting everything up.
