Help!! 2k20 MyCareer Mode is Totally Unplayable on my PS4. (with video)

Need Some Help/Advice Please.

I mostly play MyCareer. Almost exclusively.

I managed to reach a 92 Rating, and I've played 73 NBA games in MyCareer Mode, so far. But today I went to start my next NBA Game... but suddenly there is no "X" menu button for me to select, to actually start the game.

Now the entire MyCareer mode is completely unplayable for me, because I cannot get past the load screen, or go to the Park, or go to Team Practice, or do anything else at all.

If you watch the video I've posted below, you will notice that the 2KTV video doesn't load anymore & at the 0:47 second mark you will also see that it says "Game Loaded" but the "X" menu button & text have disappeared. And there is only a Blue Glow where the X button & text should be... and none of the buttons on my Controller work at this point.

So at this point, I can only "Force Quit" the game entirely.... because nothing else happens after this... and I am stuck on this loading screen. Indefinitely.

Any ideas / suggestions (that do not involve me losing ALL my progress, or my badges, or my VC, or my MyPlayer itself) are greatly appreciated.

Same thing happened last night to me...if you get an answer please post it...given how broken this game is and lousy of a company 2k is I don’t have much hope for mycareer

Game file is probably corrupted and unfortunately 2K doesn't give a crap about corrupted files. You wont get compensated for the time and VC spend on progressing your player.

Keep trying. That happened to me when trying to load a MyLeague game today. They're trying to load an ad for some 2K competition thing, and the UI disappears until the ad is over. If the ad fails to load the UI never comes back. It finally worked for me on the third or fourth try.

Ok. Thanks for the all the replies everyone. I finally got it to work. Had to reset/clear the cache - ie I turned off my PS4 completely & let it rest for about 10-20 seconds. Then I literally unplugged it from the outlet & used a whole different outlet to plug into. Then restarted the PS4 & it worked.

Now I’m back in business.
