    Ninja Headbands

Any word on when they plan to take them out of the game?

I know they may leave them in the park. But I'm like 75% through my first season, and De'aaron Fox still wears that ninja headband, which sort of ruins the immersion a little bit.

i think they keep them in the game and may just remove them from players that use them in a roster update.

Why does that ruin the immersion, it’s better to keep them in IMO. Especially when people like it on the NBA players who wear them.

Also likely. De’Aaron Fox actually wears the tieless ninja headband now. Similar to what Kyrie wore on Media Day.

Either way they are missing the Nike logo for some unknown reason.

Yeah, now De’Aaron Fox, Montrezl Harrell and Mo Harklessis wearing the tieless Nike Headband that Kyrie wore. I figured this would be the replacement of the ninja headbands tbh.

There is a rule banning any headbands that you have to tie.

So all the headbands that they wore last year are not allowed. This is why it ruins immersion.

I think they need to update these asap. They knew there were banned like 2 months ago

I know the rule...... It’s a stupid rule tbh, but seeing that people really enjoy seeing the NBA players with them on (including people’s NBA MyPlayer), there isn’t a need to remove them. The players who wear them such as De’Aaron Fox and Montrezl Harrell look a lot better with them on anyways. You’re the first person complaining about them. Live a little.

The main reason they shouldn't remove them for now is the fact that, as you've mentioned before, a lot of players who have been wearing them wear smiliar looking headbans now, with a big fat Nike logo on the front (I guess that makes them a lot "safer" now lol). So they could leave the old headbands for now, until they can (hopefully) update them later on, though I'd guess it won't happen till next year's game.

                        Re: Ninja Headbands

So we should leave headbands banned by the NBA in the game for the entire season that they are banned?

                        And that doesn't ruin immersion?

No offense, but there are a ton of threads on here that will start complaining about how their favorite player doesn't have an arm sleeve. Or that their favorite players hair isn't updated, even though their favorite player changes hair styles every week.... But we are "just fine" with banned merchandise being on NBA players during the games?

Personally I think that's crazy. They constantly add new shoes to the game. I don't see why they can't edit the headbands

2K can do so much when it comes to player likeness. You’re literally the one of the only people who is complaining about these headbands in the game when people (myself included) LOVE these headbands. And like what MacD above me stated, there isn’t a need to take them out. Those who originally wore the ninja headbands are now wearing tieless version which are similar enough.

Also, you should rather argue that they let us add or take off headbands ourselves rather than waiting for them to put them on. We can add the sleeves ourselves, but us not being able to put headbands on the players is the bigger issue. Allow us to have the option to edit headbands on the players so that you can take them off, while others keep them on if we want to do so.

WTF are you talking about? When they're able to, those ninja headbands are GONE after whatever roster update. If you want the ninja headbands, then you'll just have create a MyPlayer.
